5. Football with tears

•*Karl's POV*•

I had just received what I think is the best news of my life, Sapnap likes boys. Who knows if he's bi, Pan, gay. All I know is he likes boys. That's what mattered right now, I had a chance.

I have to wait a little, I can't tell him how I feel now. I'll ruin any kind of bond we've created in the few hours of school.

When I opened the box full of books and looked back at Sapnap to ask for help, he looked dazed. So I smiled and signaled him over to the box to help me put the books away on the shelves.

He happily agreed to help me and we got to work, Aiden would've never. Sap grabbed a few books then looked at me, smiling nervously.

"so uh, how does this library work?" I laughed and helped him around.

it was 5th period and I was dreading the moment I have to sit next to Aiden, he would never leave me alone in class now it'll just be worse.

When me and Sapnap arrived at the class Aiden wasn't there yet, thank god. Sapnap was talking to Ms. Hann so I headed towards my desk, preparing myself for the forty-minute class.

When Ms. Hann told me I had switched seats with someone, I went over and looked at the new seating chart. I searched the paper, Ms. Hann spoke up.

"oh, you'll be sitting next to Sapnap. He's informed me about how you and a few others would like to sit next to someone new," she smiled and pointed to my new seat next to Sapnap.

I can't believe this, Sapnap really asked the teacher to move me just because he didn't want me to get hurt? That's so sweet, Sapnap is too nice for someone like me, this is stupid.

I can't be with someone like him! He's way too perfect for me, he deserves someone way more than me. One of the most popular kids in school, with me someone who's only known because of their sexuality? Not happening, right?

I pushed those thoughts aside as well as I could, I was in history. I was currently failing, only because of Alice, she's nice and everything but she can be annoying at times.

Sapnap sits near her so when I try to look at him I always end up looking at her, she probably likes me and thinks that I like her. Boy oh boy, wouldn't that be a scene. I hope I get with someone before she tries to ask me out, no offense to her.

When I glanced over at Sapnap, I could see Alice looking at me like I was the love of her life. I rolled my eyes, Sapnap started to write on a piece of paper. He teared the piece of paper out of his notebook and handed it to me,

'Hey Karl, are you okay?' Oh this man, too sweet. He really noticed me roll my eyes, hah.

'yeah I'm fine Sappynappy' he chuckled and started writing something, he paused though.

I tried to glance at the paper to know what he was writing but he covered it with his hands, I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"No looking until I give it to you cheater" he whispered through his quiet laughs, I giggled as well.

"Hurry up then,"

'Karl, do you like Alice?' He thought I liked Alice? Wow, wait is he jealous. He's never going to hear the end of this.

'No I don't, are you jealousssss? OooooO sappynappy is jealous of Alice' when I passed him the note he laughed and I giggled.

'Jealous? Of Alice? yeah right like that'll ever happen, you'll know when I'm jealous cutie' I think we were a bit too loud because Ms. Hann looked at us.

At that time we focused back to the whiteboard to at least learn something, and satisfy our teacher. Just to let her know she didn't make a mistake when she switched our seats.

At the end of the day Sapnap had football so I went to my normal spot to start reading and watch Sapnap play, Sapnap is actually really good at football from what I understand.

I understand the 1st downs, what I don't understand is the part where they run through a whole group of people when they could easily go around.

Sometimes I'd enjoy just listening to music but now that I knew Sapnap would yell my name I didn't want to act like I was ignoring him, plus it's more time I'm acknowledged by my crush so.

I've been observing him very subtlety, it's seems as he looks at this guy named Josh. He looks at him... differently I guess, I could be wrong. Maybe Sapnap just looks at everyone differently, he looks at Aiden all the time. Only because he's pissed off at him, I don't think Sapnap likes anybody at the moment.

I also just like looking at him, he's very pretty. His honey colored eyes, his hair was a very soft caramel brown, his pastel pink lips.

I sometimes get so close to touching his hair, but than immediately back out before he notices. I'm glad I'm taller than him, if I wasn't I don't think I could do all the things I do right now.

For example, look at him as much as I do, I look at him different. At least that's what my friends say, Alex specifically. I don't know if I believe him though, he could be messing with me.

I enjoyed watching Sapnap and reading at the same time, sometimes when I was enjoying watching him play he'd see me and smile or wave.

I blushed and giggled every time he'd get water and wave at me, they looked like they were scrimmaging so when they were on offense I watched. But I only watched a couple moments of when Dream's team was on offense and I heard Saps name.

Sapnap had scored at least two touchdowns and two of his other teammates scored others, they were good. Dream's team had scored too, Dream scored most of them only because someone else was being the quarterback for his team. They were good, but definitely not as good as Dream.

Dream and Sapnap were probably the main reasons we won all our games, there was a good corner though, I think his name is Techno? Sounds about right.

Logan was called while Sapnap's team was on offense, so I looked up, I thought the play was over?

"Logan! Can you get Sapnap some bandages? And something to support his ankle I think he sprained it! There's a pretty bad cut too!" The coach yelled.

Sapnap is hurt? I jogged towards the field and when Sapnap spotted me he yelled my name, when I heard him yell my name I ran. Man I hope he's ok, he better not have broken anything.
