13. The waiter

*•<Karl's POV>•*

Sap is amazing, he took me to the movies and now we are at a restaurant that he reserved. It means so much to me that he did this for me, I can't remember the last time someone ever did this for me, or even had the time to try.

"Here are your drinks, your food will be out soon," she turned around to head back to the kitchen

before she did, she winked. Not only did she wink, she winked at Sapnap. I started giving her the death stare, even though only sap could see me glaring at her.

Our waiter looks like just about our age maybe a little older, she's flirting with sap. I hate it, he's supposed to be mine. Even though sapnap might not know it, but we don't talk about that. Truth is I hope she just falls or something, with water on a tray. Maybe I'm being a little to harsh, I don't know.

"What's up Karl?" He said, I giggled at the 4th grade comeback I had in my mind.

"The sky" I giggled and he laughed,

"Nice, what are you 9?" I giggled and nodded, sap smiled at me, I practically disappeared under his gaze. 

"duh," I laughed,

"anyways I asked because you looked tense and well, I'm gonna be honest, annoyed at a certain someone" he pointed towards the girl, I grabbed his hand,

"sap! Don't point she'll think you like her or something," he looked at me and smirked,

"Why? you got a problem with that?" I paused, if I say yes then he'll laugh, if I say no he'll have a stupid comeback.

"yes" I said smugly, he looked at me and he laughed.

"Why? You jealous" he cooed, honestly, I knew I was.

I couldn't admit that though, I'd never hear the end of it. He might get suspicious too, I can't have him figuring out my feelings for him, that would be bad.

"No, just don't want you running around with strangers" I said as real as I could,

I technically wasn't lying though. I really don't want him with some ran-do off the streets, she seemed kind of weird. That's probably bias though because I don't want Sapnap getting with her.

"Mhm" sap didn't believe me, that's fine.

As long as I know he won't shove the jealousy I have, in my face later. That's when I saw the waiter walking back with our food, man just her presence annoys me. Sap looked at me then laughed, I jokefully rolled my eyes.

"Hey boys, here's your food" she sat the plates down on the table. "Let me know when you need something" she said then smirked at sap. Man she's so annoying, I hate that.

"that waiter is annoying" sap said, oh thank goodness he doesn't like her. "She pretty and all but she's annoying" he said while looking at his food.

'great, he thinks she's pretty' I thought sarcastically, man I wish she didn't take our orders.

The noodles that I got were amazing, they were perfectly sauced and perfectly cooked, they were just amazing.

"Hey Jacpbs, let me try your food too" I looked at him and smiled, that nickname.

"okay switch plates then sappy" he chuckled and switched plates with me,

"Let's try the food at the same time okay?" I nodded at his statement, "ok, 3-2-1 eat" 

When I took a bite it was the best burger that I have ever had in my life, just amazing. I don't think my eyes could get as wide as Saps did, he looked like he had just saw a ghost.

"Oh my goodness sapnap, your food is amazing." He laughed,

"What are you talking about, yours is way better" he said dragging out the word 'way'. I giggled, he must really like it.

•~time-skip (done with food)~•

"It was really good sap, thank you so much for taking me" I said, he smiled and nodded.

Then he had a lightbulb, or at least it looked like he did. It was kind of funny to see.

"okay Karl so," he started "I got you something I thought you might like, honestly I got it a long time ago-"

"This morning?" he opened his mouth to talk then closed it to rethink his words,

"No actually, last week" I giggled "anyways, I decided to give it to you because it's reminds me of you." I nodded, why the honk is he getting me stuff.

"okay okay Karl, close those beautiful eyes of yours" I blushed and closed them, "put your hands out" I put them out hesitantly.

I felt something be placed in my hands, it was small and felt a little heavy. What is it? I probably don't even deserve what he's giving me, who knows it could be something really expensive. gosh I hope not.

"Sap I swear, what is this" he giggled,

"Open your eyes" I opened my eyes to an amazing, beautiful, silver ring. I could feel my eyes widen, how'd he know my ring size? Why did he do this? What the honk?

"Sap! What the heck! I love it!" I smiled brightly towards him.

"Does it fit? I got it a little bit ago"

"It fits very well sap thank you."

I took more time to observe the ring and it's beauty, sapnap usually wears three rings and now he only has two, is this the other?

It was a silver band ring, it had a swirl on it. The swirl was purple, it looked amazing. I was close to putting it on when I noticed an engraving on the inside, it said "when life gives you lemons" sap saw me ponder it, he laughed.

"you like it?" sap asked,

"yes of course, I love it.

"Good! I'm glad you love it, the engraving matches my ring! I've had this one for a while actually, it says  "make lemonade" and I have no idea what it meant but I think I do now that you have that ring," I blushed and smiled.

I stood up to go hug him but of course, the waiter had to come and ruin the moment. I wish she just waited, then I would be in a warm embrace that I felt safe in. Now i just looked stupid, I rolled my eyes and sat back down.

"Ok any dessert?" Sap shook his head and smiled "ok! Here's the check then!"

Once sapnap paid we had to wait for change, because for some reason his rich ass carries around $100 bills, the food was $35. 

"Ok boys here is your change and the guest copy is in there, make sure to take it! Have a good day!" Sapnap nodded and I grabbed the receipt that he had in his hands.

As we walked out I frowned when I saw a number written on the bottom of the copy, I wish sap was just mine. But he's not, that would be some dream.' shit' I thought,

'I'm in love.'
