*~•Karl's POV•~*
It was Friday, the day Dream was asking George to be his boyfriend. I was way too excited, at school I could barely sit still.
"Karl," Nick whispered, "calm down," I nodded but still couldn't stop moving.
I saw Nick grab a note a write on it, he gave it to me.
'Karl go to the bathroom, I'll be there in a minute' I nodded and raised my hand,
"Yes Karl?" The teacher asked, it was study hall and I was all caught up.
"Can I go to the bathroom," I asked almost standing up and getting out of my seat.
"Yes Karl go ahead," I smiled and walked out of the classroom then ran to the bathroom,
After about two minutes Nick came walking over to the bathroom, I smiled when I saw him.
"Karl why are you so hyper, I haven't seen you this hyper since I met you." I giggled.
"I'm just excited that Dream is asking George," Nick smiled.
"Okay Karl, please try to calm down." I nodded but I knew I wouldn't be able to, "that's not going to happen is it,"
"I don't think so," Nick laughed.
"okay well, we both have a free period next class so we can go to the roof and hang out there okay?" I nodded and smiled, "please try to sit through this period,"
"I'll try Nick,"
I walked back first so the teacher didn't suspect anything, Nick walked in about a minute later. The period was over in ten minutes so I hoped I'd be able to chill at least for the ten minutes.
I doodled in my notebook for a few minutes until I got bored, then I just started reading my book. I still was struggling to sit still for the last five minutes, Nick noticed because I got another note.
'Karl seriously there is five minutes left you got it' I smile and stuck the note in my book as a bookmark, hoping that I'd calm down soon. Nick said we'd go to the roof so I tried to imagine what we'd do up there.
RING—
I jumped up immediately, excited that the period was over. Nick laughed when he saw my anxiousness, I smiled and walked to the door.
When we made it to the roof I sat at the bench that was up there. Nick eventually came over and sat next to me, only because I ran to the roof and he didn't.
"So Karl," I looked at Nick, "why are you so excited anyways?" I smiled.
"Well, it's because they're cute together." I said, "plus I made a bet with George," Nick looked at me.
"What kind of bet?" He asked with concern laced in his voice.
"well George said he really liked Dream, so I made a bet, or it was him, that if him and Dream got together before me and you-" I stopped, I didn't want to finish that sentence.
"so, you're going to win?" Nick asked, I nodded slowly wishing I wasn't going to win.
"I'm happy for them even if there wasn't a bet" I said trying to push off the fact that I almost told Nick my feelings.
"Me too, I've dealt with them for literally years. Finally Dream has the courage to ask George." I laughed,
"ya I bet,"
We sat out on the roof for a little more before we had to get back inside for class, which we had together. I do miss having the same class with Alex, I miss talking to Chris too. I should hang with the crew sometime.
"Good afternoon Karl," my teacher said as I walked into the classroom,
"Hi Miss," I headed towards my seat, hoping that Aiden would leave me alone this class, Nick sat next to me.
Class started, today's topic: Boredom. Not even kidding, it was about what makes people bored. It was quiet interesting actually. I raised my hand to go to the bathroom cause I was tired of sitting still, I needed to move for a while.
"Yes Karl?"
"Can I go to the bathroom?" The teacher nodded,
I headed out the bathroom hoping to get my energy out, I got to the bathroom but heard footsteps behind me. I froze when I saw who it was in the mirror. Aiden.
"Hello Karl," Aiden said deeply.
"uh-" before I could say anything Aiden punched me, "what the-" I said,
"Karl, I thought we were friends but you just turn around and leave me," I looked down, Aiden grabbed my jaw hastily "look at me when I'm talking to you," I felt tears grow in my eyes.
"Aiden- please-" I said trying to hold tears back,
"You're little boyfriend isn't here to save you Karl," I whined from the pain in his nails digging into my jaw.
"You said what about that little boyfriend?!" I heard Nick say.
"Why the hell are you here," Nick looked at me, then back at Aiden.
"Teacher sent me, you were taking too long." Nick said slowly getting closer.
"Well guess what," Aiden said taking me to the stalls.
"Aiden where are you going, let go of him." I saw Nick look at me.
Aiden opened one of the stalls and threw me in making me hit my head on the ground, I felt dizzy and my head hurt.
~*•Nick's POV•*~ (TW: blood and strong language, please please please stay safe out there.)
"Aiden you asshole," I say as I get closer to him,
"You're little boyfriend is a bitch and can go die for all I care, you two are the worst." I got pissed,
"What did you just call my boyfriend," I know Karl isn't my boyfriend yet but it sure damn feels like it right now.
"I called him a bitch, you heard me." I couldn't take it anymore, I punched him square in the face making him stumble back and his nose started to bleed.
"You little b-" Aiden stopped,
"BOYS!" I heard my teacher yell, "get to the principals office right now!"
"Miss wait Karl," I said worried because I haven't heard him,
"Where is he Nick?" The teacher asked angrily,
"Aiden threw him in here.." I opened the stall to see Karl knocked or passed out, I froze not knowing what to do but felt tears gather in my eyes.
"Nick, it's going to be okay. Please go to the principal's office," I couldn't move anywhere but towards Karl,
"Miss I can't leave him," she wanted to protest, I could see it in her eyes, but she let me stay.
"okay but Nick, you will need to head to the principal's office by the end of the day." I nodded going to Karl and carrying him to the nurse,
I hate this school because before a student can be sent to the hospital they need to go to the school nurse, and we all know school nurses. 'iCe It, iT'lL bE fInE' it makes me mad, I'm hoping this time the nurse will actually try something.
He means too much to me.
