"So can we go pleaseeeeee?" Ashlyn asked Martha.. "We will have to ask you Dad." Martha replied.. She did not want to go into Gotham again.. But the children did seem to want to go.. "Daddy?" Ashlyn asked, smiling at him.. They were at the dinner table in the kitchen.. They did prefer things to be informal when possible.. "If you do not need me Sir, I can supervise them, with Harriett of course." Alfred said.. He could see how much the children wanted to go.. He also knew that Thomas had a meeting that night.. "Well if Mummy and Harriett say you have been good, then maybe." Thomas said, smiling at Ashlyn.. "So does this mean you will not be there?" Bruce asked with disappointment.. "Yes Bruce, the company will not run itself." Thomas replied.. "No Sir." Bruce said understanding now.. No one else spoke.. "So are we going to the Christmas tree lights then?" Ashley asked as she headed back to the toy room with Ashlyn later that night.. "I think so." Ashlyn said giggling..

The Pike house..

"So come on down tomorrow night People. Join in the fun. See the lights on the tree turned on at six pm." The reporter said into the camera. Harleen sat watching with her eyes wide. She turned to Jade. "Can we go? She asked, smiling. "Don't ask me, ya better ask our new Mummy." Jade replied giggling." Jade said giggling.. Harleen got up and ran over to Carol.. "Can we go to the Santa lights, Mummy?" Harleen asked, giggling.. "Do ya want to?" Carol asked, with a smile.. She knew they did.. "Well, ... Yeah!" Harleen said laughing. "Well then we can all go." Carol said after a pause. "Yeah! I love ya." Harleen said, hugging Carol.. "I think I'll pass thanks." Evan said. "Your loss.." Harleen said with a giggle.. "Our gain." Harry whispered to Jake. He laughed. "What did you say four eyes?" Evan asked glaring at Harleen. "Nothing, Evan, nothing." Harleen said, giggling. "I'm watching you." Evan said to her.. "I'm scared." Harleen said giggling.. "Harleen, Evan, that is enough." Carol said, glancing over at Mr Pike.. He had not said a word against Selina, Jade, Harleen, Maggie and Janna, since the camping trip.. Sometimes Carol wondered why he did what he did....

"Come on then we don't want to be late." Alfred said with a laugh.. "We are never late. We are Wayne's." Bruce said with a smile. "I don't think Gotham thinks like that Bruce." Harriett said with a smile.. "Well it should." Bruce replied, with a laugh.. Will you stop yapping Bruce, and get in the car.. We are wasting fun time." Ashlyn said giggling.. "I want to go on the Carousel Ride.. I want to ride on a big white horse." Ashley said giggling.. "Me too." Troy said giggling.. "Well we won't be riding on anything if Bruce does not hurry along." Ashlyn said getting annoyed now.. Finally Bruce climbed into the car with a smile.. "Let's go Alfred." Ashlyn said giggling...

The Pike Family..

The next night with laughter all around, they headed uptown. To watch the lighting of the massive Christmas tree. "I want to see Santa again.." Harleen giggled as they walked. "Now why would that be Harleen?" Carol asked. "To thank him for the new Mummy, and to ask him for an American girl doll again.. I really want one of them. Do ya think he will bring me one?" Harleen said, prattling on as they walked she had a hold of Carol's hand.. "Ya know she aint going to make the walk home don't ya." Jade said laughing. "You think you will?" Taylor asked, laughing too. "I know I will want to call a car for me." Selina said giggling. "Me too, it's a long walk." Jade agreed. "But so worth it." Hunter said laughing.. "I am a little excited tonight, Aunty." Harry said as he kicked away in his pram..

While this was happening, Kevin and Hunter were getting cosy together.. "Did ya get them?" Hunter asked Kevin.. "Here ya go, what do ya want them for?" Kevin asked. "Nothing." Hunter said, placing the small red tubes into his pocket. "Why, Hunter Potter, I do believe you are up to no good." Kevin said laughing. "Who, Us?" Orion replied, laughing.. .
