Carmine stood at the door of the Mansion.. He was standing listening to Madeline and Rebecca argue about going to Grandmother's house.. Carmine smiled at Alberto.. Gloria stood by his side looking bored.. They do this ritual every year at Christmas time.. Finally Rebecca ran down the stairs with her little travel case in one hand.. In the other her beloved American Girl doll Molly in the other.. Madeline closely behind with her doll, Courtney.. "Arh the girls are coming with us for the weekend." Gloria said, smiling at both of her girls.. "They can not stay here on their own Mummy!" Madeline said with a giggle.. "Of course not, however would Charles cope." Gloria said with a grin. Charles being the butler in the Falcone house.. "I am sure Carmen would help him." Alberto said with a laugh.. Carmen was of course the housekeeper.. "Now neither of them need to.. The girls are coming with us." Carmine said with one huge smile.. "Will the Witch give them something, do you think, Grandpa?" Rebecca asked as they headed out to the car.. "I am sure she will, but only if they have been good." Carmine said with a smile..
Once at the beach house, the girls ran to hug Aunty Sofia.. "Look, we brought our dolls with us. Mine is Molly, and Madeline's is Courtney." Rebecca said, throwing the doll at Sofia.. "How wonderful." Sofia replied with a smile.. "Daddy." She said kissing him on the cheeks.. "Sofia." Carmine replied with a smile.. "Come Mario is waiting with the refreshments." Sofia said, leading the way into the beach house.. Which was actually a mansion on the beach.. They even had their own private beach too.. "May we go swimming please, please, Grandpa." Rebecca asked, smiling at him.. "If you do, who will look out for your dolls.. They can not go in the water can they?" Carmine asked.. "Oh, I didn't think about that." Rebecca said, looking at Sofia.. "Maybe later when Grandpa can watch them for us, we can go to the beach." Sofia replied.. "Ok deal.. Hello Uncle Mario!" Rebecca and Madeleine yelled as they ran to him.. "You know far too much about those dolls, Dad." Sofia said with a smile.. "I know the girls spend far too much time with Carmine." Gloria said.. "I'm sure they do.. How are you Alberto?" Sofia asked, smiling at him.. She totally ignored Gloria.. She did not like her or trust her one little bit.. Even after all these years.. Alberto smiled at Gloria and took her hand, as they followed Sofia into the outdoor area where Mario awaited them.. "Alberto. Gloria, beautiful as always." Mario said, smiling at them both.. "I see Gotham agrees with you both." Mario said.. "As does seaside with you, Mario." Gloria said, beaming at him.. "It is work that agrees with me Gloria." Mario said smiling.. "More like the nurses." Alberto said smiling..
