*Athena's POV*

I'm happy that I have finally found some peace. Elle knows about everything, I'm pretty sure that Calum knows by now that I have a 'thing' for him like I know he has a 'thing' for me. I need to tell Mikey too, because I don't want him to feel sad when he discovers it.

Work has been keeping me from some thoughts and that is a really good thing, I just can't think about it all day and do nothing in life. Love is what it is and I made it clear to myself that if something happens between me and him it will last a really short term, because I know he is a player and both me and you know that players can't keep a long term relationship.

I'm currently at a pub with my coworkers to distract a little. Boss haven't given me "hard works" (you know what I mean, babysitting Calum while I keep fighting my feelings) and I can sense that they may come any time soon. I can say that that is a negative consequence for my workaholic habit.

"I'm so happy that we had finally some time off to celebrate life for a little!" Bonnie, a partner of Elle in the Accountancy Department that had been joining us for the last few months and someone that I've learned that is a really good friend of my best friend, happily said while throwing her tequilla shot down.

"Yes, yes, Bonnie. A time off that takes one day long." Luke joked around.

"Don't be a party killer, Lucas. That is not a good thing to gentlemans!" She said, slurring.

"Someone got pretty drunk in just... hour and a half." I whisperly replied, looking at my watch.

"Yeah, she is a party girl, as if you haven't noticed earlier." Elle laughed. "Bonnie is a good friend, though. So we love her when she's in this state, always making someone's day." She calmly states and worrily looks at me. "You're a good friend too, Athey. You just need to get through all of this. C'mon, let's follow Bonnie's example and party!" She throws her hands up and orders two shots.

"Elle, just remember: if I wake up tomorrow with an humongous headache, it is definitely your fault, 'kay?"

"Fine with it!" She laughs after handing me the shot.

***
Like I had thought, I have an headache that is incredibly destroying me for the day. Fortunately, it is Saturday, which means that since it is our day off, we (or me) can do whatever we feel like to do. It is a beautiful sun day and I have this thing that calls me to go to the gym. I don't want to go alone, so I just grab my phone and text Elle.

From: Athena
To: Elle

Hello, girl. Are you up for a gym day?

A few minutes later, I have a response:

From: Elle
To: Athena

I'm afraid I won't go. Luke is coming over and my parents are here. I'm sorry. :(

Guess I have to go alone, I thought.

Hey, dear readers.
Finally, after my writer block, I did it.
This chapter wasn't supposed to go this way, but I wasn't liking it, so I changed it.

I'm so sorry you had to wait a really, really, really long to time to see what was the path this story was going to take.

I also hope that you liked it and give your best feelings, like voting and comments, to this chapter.

And, of course, thank you and I love you. ❤️ xx
