A Mimic From the Other Side

Sitting at the corner, head rested on the wall,
Mesmerized by the darkness that spoiled the whole;
There's no single light inside this quarter,
No flashes or any flicker of a lighter.

Not too long, I heeded a stamp of feet,
Goosebumps, I'm the only one inside the grith;
I glanced on my left even if I couldn't visualize,
A knock from the wall, made me realized.

At first, it was only a hush under the bush,
Not until it became audible together with a loud smash;
What I heard from the wall were the noises coming from yours truly,
The blare on the other side were the mimic of my cacophony.
