Chapter 10 - Good Night Mondstadt

Saiken was kind enough to bring us a plate of hand held food. Honey garlic chicken on a stick with plenty of vegetation such as peppers and onions was really good. I also enjoyed the meats and mushroom skewer, onion rings, and small bite sized sandwiches packed with ham, cheese and pickles.

Me and Lumine are still hungry, but we're not starving. We both decided to have fun first and then find some food to eat. I like that idea because food coma.

There's also going to be a bunch of desserts soon once those food carts open up. I'll definitely bring a plate of desserts for Saiken and Paimon who are running our cart. I think they're capable of.. doing business.

I hope..

"Hey Lumine, you think they'll be fine?"

"Now you're asking me that? You literally told me that everything will be okay. Wow are you doubting them now?"

"I- I don't know. Sorry Lumine.." Saiken won't be too happy to see me return to work. He gave me this chance! Don't waste it. "Saiken is.. older than us and Paimon is a reliable guide. I think the two have the common sense to run a shop."

"Ahahha.. right.." Even Lumine is doubting them. "Well if anything happens it's their fault right?"

"Yup and we'll leave it at that. So where to first Lumine?"

"I've been hearing good things from the ribbon cart. Melissa is selling cute, matching ribbons for friends, families, and couples sooo.. I was wondering if we can get matching ribbons on our wrists or outfits. Something for the both of us."

"Ohhh yes! Alright Lumine! I'm on board so let's go. I can't imagine a couple without matching items so having a ribbon the represents us both is really cute."

We both comfortably hold hands and walk our way to the ribbon cart shop. Luckily the line up isn't too big, but unlucky that most product has already been sold. Hopefully there's something amazing for me and Lumine.

Melissa waves at us and greets us with a smile as every shop keeper would do. Including me!

"See anything you like?" Melissa's voice is so young despite her being almost fifty years of age. Last year she sold scarfs and the year before that she sold capes. This year it's ribbons,   bracelets, bowties, and a few more I can't identify.

Bracelets are jewelry which is very nice looking, but it doesn't suit me or Lumine. We're more interested in nice coloured ribbons that match the both of us.

"Gold and red.. what do you think, Amber?"

"It matches baron bunny more so than us." Although baron bunny is primarily red and white, but my little plushie stands out a lot because of the red and gold. It's the ears that catches people's eyes rather than the red outfit and white tummy.

"Red.. there's a bunch of reds so there has to be a colour that matches me, right? I mean.. your entire outfit screams red. You know how school idols have an imagine colour? Yours would be red."

"School.. idols?" No idea what that is, but the author made a bunch of fanfics about school idols. "So my image colour would be red? I'd agree with that. You practically see me in red everyday. Hmm.. red and white then?" There are a bunch of red and white ribbons, but Lumine disagrees with me.

"Eh, we're not Canadians. Wait I just said eh- ohh maybe I am a Canadian."

"Your dress is all white so essentially you're just a snowman."

"Ugghh— okay I would rather not bleed maple syrup though. Hmm.. my image colour would be.. yellow? My hair colour and eye colour aren't necessarily yellow, but it's.. in the same idea."
