Chapter 18 - Saiken and a Masterless Vision

One after another.

Their numbers just won't go down.

"How is he still alive?! Fucking fire the cannons!"

"But vice captain Botsu- uhh- No one is responding on the ship. We believe that-"

"Tsk- the hell is Mao Song doing?! Can you archers hit your fucking shots then? He's just one person without a vision! Kill him already!"

"We've tried vice captain! He keeps using our crew mates as meat shields and he uses random corpses on the ground."

"Resorting to melee combat with this guy is fucking insane! We have an army here! That's a good few hundred of us no? Are you saying he's going to kill more than a hundred of you worthless dumb assess? The more he fights the more tired he'll get. Mao Song can defeat whoever he's fighting, but you fuckers better get it together and kill him!"

I can hear that Botsu guy talking loud and clear. He's not happy that I'm still alive and killing almost everyone I see. These pirates aren't even skilled at all and I just go through them easily. With the amount of corpses on the ground the beach is turning red.

I have a few slimes in my pockets.. one cryo, one anemo and one geo slime. I have to save these three for when Botsu tries to fight me. Although.. the numbers are in the hundreds.. My stamina is fine because of a energy herbal mix I consumed before the fight as well as forcing myself going into an adrenaline rush.

Still.. it won't be enough because there's just too many pirates. If I had YeonHee then maybe I could take them all on.. maybe trading my ten year life span would be better rather than struggling and possibly dying.

No, Amber believes in me. If anything she'll kick Mao Song's ass and come help me out with Lumine. The three of us can definitely win!

"I had enough of this!" Botsu yells in rage, shoving his men away and finally approaches me. He blasts a hydro canon at me like some pokemon.

I have the energy and speed to dodge it, but should I get it by hit then it's game over. The blast of water was able to destroy rocks and cause some damage onto the terrain. Like Mao Song he uses hydro spikes to burst out of the ground- trying to impale me.

I use the corpses on the ground as a meat shield, but the hydro spikes were able to go all the way through and it even stabbed but, but only a shallow wound. I take some random sword from the corpse and throw it a Botsu- the guy uses some water whip to snap the sword in half and tries to whip me as well.

I dodge the attack by rolling on the ground and still running towards him. His water whips are so powerful that he just cuts the corpses body in half while digging deep into the sand. It makes a loud cracking noise each time he uses the water whip and he manifests more whips at his disposal.

I really have to strafe around and become so agile so that he can't hit me otherwise I'd lose a limb or I die. I'm not gonna even try blocking those whips because it'll definitely break my weapons. I just have to get closer and kick his ass!

"Protect the vice captain!" A group of pirates grab their shields and run towards me also they have long pikes- some what resembling a roman army. The dollar store roman army.

I would expect that Botsu has to hold back his attacks otherwise he'd kill his own men, but I was wrong. Botsu in fact uses his men as a stepping stone. The water whip cleaves his men in half as well as hitting me, but I use my katana to block the attack, but it barely worker.

My blade breaks into many, many pieces.. the entirety of my blade broke! Only the hilt and handle remains. My arm and stomach has a shallow gash however and I'm bleeding pretty bad.
