There's a story behind every person. There's a reason why they're the way they are.

♡︎♡︎♡︎She laid peacefully on my chest as she slept. I held her close, not letting her go. I'm not used to actually sleeping in the same bed as anyone. I don't cuddle. I don't share beds with anyone. For some reason I'm here, holding her. Letting her sleep in bed with me. I don't usually care about anyone else's feelings other than my own, but I held her as she cried. I hate that she had to go through that alone. It pains me that she doesn't see how beautiful she is. Every part of her is perfect. Her hazel eyes that hide so much pain behind them. Her long curly dark brown hair. She's perfect. I want to show her how beautiful she is. Show her that every inch of her body is perfect the way it is.
Her boyfriend didn't deserve her. Well, ex-boyfriend. There's no way I'd ever let him get close to her again. Once I send someone to get her stuff I will handle him. I will torture him in ways he couldn't even imagine. I'll make him regret ever putting his hands on her. Ever making her feel like she wasn't enough. He'll pay for everything he put her through.
For most of the night I didn't sleep. I just laid there lost in my thoughts. I held her as she moved in her sleep. Making small whimpering sounds. I wonder what she's dreaming about. I can tell that she's having a nightmare by the way she's moving around and whimpering. I was debating on whether I should wake her up or not. Just as I was about to wake her up she shot up gasping.
"Are you okay?" I mumbled. She nodded and laid back down. I could tell she was having a hard time going back to sleep.
"Why are you awake?" She asked quietly.
"Can't sleep." I sighed when I heard my phone start to ring.
"What? Are you serious? Right now? I'm on my way." I was annoyed that my dad had called a meeting at this time. It's not even 7 yet.
"Is everything okay?" She asked.
"Yeah I just have to go handle something." I got up and started to get dressed. After driving for a few minutes I noticed that a car behind me wasn't leaving. I decided to drive around not going to the warehouse to make sure that I was actually being followed. The windows were darkly tinted so I could not see who was behind the wheel. They started to speed up getting closer until they hit the back of my car. I sped up and called for back up. The window rolled down and I saw a man reach out pointing a gun out. The man started to fire shots towards me. I drove towards the direction of the warehouse so that I was closer and backup could catch whoever was in the car following me
I made a sharp turn and my men pulled out surrounding the man who was shooting at me.
I continued to drive to the warehouse. When I arrived I walked inside to the meeting room and took my seat.
"You took your time." My dad spoke, glaring at me.
"Oh I'm sorry I was just getting my car shot up. No big deal." I Taunted. The meeting started and we discussed tonight's plans. It got back to us that someone was planning on ambushing one of our biggest shipments tonight. Meaning we need to find out who's been spilling information and who was planning on attacking tonight. We are already many steps ahead of them.

Tonight finally arrived and we all got into position. I waited on top of the building, watching as 2 vans and 4 cars pulled up. I counted as each man hopped out. Around 36 men in total. I waited for them to spread out before signaling everyone. I aimed my gun at one of the men who stayed behind keeping watch. I shot him in the head. I watched as the other guy aimed his gun and looked around for where the shot came from. Then I shot him in the head. I listen as the rest of my men kill off the others. Once they gave me the signal that everyone is dead I just went down to leave. As I'm walking I heard a gun being cocked behind my head.
