Episode 2.) Bad At Emotions

The two approached the restaurant that served soba. "Thank you for coming with me, Bakugo." Todoroki thanked. "Whatever.. I just want you to stop staring at me all weirdly..." Bakugo mumbled. Bakugo closed his umbrella as the two walked in. "How many of you?" Asked the host. "Two!" Bakugo yelled at the host. "O-Okay." She spoke grabbing two menus. "Come with me!" She quickly walked to the pair's table. "I'll be your waiter! What drinks could I get for you two young heros?" The man asked clearly familiar with who the two were. "Cooled tea, please." Todoroki spoke politely. "Just water.." Bakugo muttered.

The waiter swiftly took note, looked up and smiled, and then left. "What're you getting, Bakugo?" Todoroki asked his classmate. "I don't know... A sandwich? No, I'll just get soba too." Bakugo said not knowing what to get. "Oh, you like soba too?" Todoroki asked, his face stood still but his tone expressed how happy he was. "Sure.. well, I don't really care for it." Bakugo said slightly irritated. It went quite for a minute and then "Hey, Bakugo?" Todoroki called. "What do you want?" Bakugo grumbled. "Are we friends..?" Todoroki asked hesitantly.

"I.." Bakugo looked at Todoroki's face. Still, there was nothing. "No, why would we be friends?!" Bakugo yelled quieting the whole restaurant. "Oh.." Todoroki said looking down. "Uh, fine, sure! Just stop looking all mopey!" Bakugo yelled. "Okay, I'm sorry." Todoroki said looking back up at Bakugo. "What's with you, you're so weird.. You're always stone faced just like Monoma said!" Bakugo yelled in anger.

Todoroki tried to speak but closed his mouth. Then he tried again. "I've been told that I'm bad at expressing myself. I never know what to say or what face to make. I'm sorry, Bakugo.." Todoroki apologized only twice but to Bakugo it felt like an infinite amount of times. "Stop apologizing!" Bakugo yelled. "And.. You're not entirely bad at expressing yourself... I know that you hate your dad and shit. I know that you like soba and I know when you're feeling down or if you're happy... It's just that your face tends to stay the same. Try smiling or something, is there anything that makes you want to smile?" Bakugo asked.

"I like it when I'm with you and my friends." Todoroki said innocently. Bakugo felt his face warm up. He gritted his teeth glaring at Todoroki. "Are you okay Bakug- "What ELSE?!" Bakugo yelled embarrassed. "Well, I like it whenever I get to see my mom." Todoroki said. "I see that you two are a loud pair!" The waiter said setting down the drinks. "Whatever.." Bakugo muttered, snatching his drink. "So what can I get for you guys?" The waiter asked. "Two cold sobas!" Bakugo announced. "Alright.." The waiter then left.

"Thanks for talking about this with me. I'm starting to feel better." Todoroki said smiling softly. Bakugo tensed up. "It... It's nothing!" Bakugo yelled. Just then the two noticed that they were the only customers in the restaurant. Did Bakugo chase them all away? Bakugo immediately felt that something was wrong. "Where did everyone go?" Todoroki asked. Suddenly, the waiter came into the room. "Oi, did everyone else suddenly decide to go home?" Bakugo asked. "Oh.. We kicked them out." The waiter smiled. "What the.. Why the hell- just then the waiter aimed his arm at Bakugo.

Todoroki jumped pushing him out of the way and was slammed into the wall of the restaurant. The waiters quirk was a movable invisible force. It would be hard to avoid. Bakugo looked at Todoroki, panicked. Todoroki slowly got up. Bakugo aimed his arm for the waiter trying to blow him up but he ended up blowing himself away. The invisible wall was formed in front of him before he used his quirk so he exploded himself.

"Bakugo!" Todoroki yelled. The waiter laughed maniacally. "HAHAHAHA! I'm such a fan of you Katsuki Bakugo!" The waiter said once again shoving Todoroki to the wall knocking him out. "SHUT THE HELL UP!" Bakugo yelled launching at the waiter. He ended up just banging into an invisible wall falling backwards. "Are the UA students this weak?! Why aren't you defeating me?!" The waiter yelled at Bakugo.

Suddenly, two people came out of the back of the restaurant. One of them was the host, she was glowing blinding Bakugo as she walked out and the other has spikes surrounding the outside of his body that slowly increased in size and decreased. Then a tall man in the back dragged out multiple civilians who were all tied up in a strong mettle tape. That must've been his quirk. Bakugo then looked at Todoroki who was limp on the floor bleeding from his head. He ran towards him but was pushed away by another invisible wall. Todoroki was then pulled away by the metal users quirk.

Bakugo then made the decision to run off and get help. Now he usually wouldn't do this. He didn't want to leave Todoroki, of course, but he couldn't risk getting caught himself. He didn't want to seem like a victim ever again.. "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! FIGHT US!" He heard the waiter yell for him.
