Todoroki has always had a problem with reacting to things. Due to his past he isn't able to react like a normal person would to a joke or to a confession.
Even then, somehow, love has its ways.

The following Monday the two went to their class. Once they got into class and it started Todoroki could feel Bakugo's eyes on him, his glares, and so could everyone else. "Hey, did something happen between you two?" Midorya asked Todoroki, worried. Todoroki turned around facing Bakugo, who looked furious. "No." Todoroki said plainly. "Uh, okay.." Midorya mumbled, confused.
After class Todoroki packed up and headed towards the lunch room when Bakugo stopped him, slamming his hand onto the wall. "I wanna talk.." Bakugo muttered. "Okay." Todoroki said. "I love you." Bakugo said. Todoroki turned a bright red.

"Come on, say something, you idiot." Bakugo ordered. "I-I love you too!" Todoroki yelled, which was a rare sight to see. Bakugo's eyes widened. "You do." Bakugo said. "Mhm, I do." Todoroki said. "G-Good.." Bakugo mumbled, sliding his hand off of the wall.
Todoroki faced Bakugo, a little worried. "Are you aright, Bakugo?" Todoroki asked. "Call me Katsuki, dumbass..." Bakugo mumbled. "Oh.. Okay, Katsuki." Todoroki said blushing even more. "I'm going to call you Shoto.. Okay?" Bakugo said basically asking if it was okay. "Okay." Todoroki said, steaming. "Uh, Todoroki, your on fire." Bakugo said laughing a bit. Todoroki struggled to control his quirk. Bakugo then walked away.
