Todoroki has always had a problem with reacting to things. Due to his past he isn't able to react like a normal person would to a joke or to a confession.
Even then, somehow, love has its ways.

At lunch Todoroki sat with Midorya, Iida, and Uraraka like the usual. Todoroki stared at Bakugo from afar who sat with his main group of friends, Mina, Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari.
"Heyyy, watch ya staring at, Todoroki-Kun?" Uraraka asked. "It's no one..." Todoroki mumbled. "She didn't say it was a someone." Iida pointed out, adjusting his glasses. "You're looking at Kacchan, right?" Midorya asked.
"Uhm.. Yes." Todoroki hesitated when answering. "Are you two like a thing? I can't really tell!" Uraraka asked. "Isn't he mean to you? How can you bare with him?" Iida asked. "Guys- "Yeah, how do you handle Kacchan?" Midorya asked. "He's com- "Recently you and him are always together and-
"STUPID NERD! Stop taking about me!" Bakugo yelled. "Todoroki, let's go!" Bakugo said pulling him. "Okay." Todoroki said. Once the two were far gone Iida spoke up. "I.. I am a little concerned." Iida said.
"Same.." Uraraka spoke. "I'm happy that Kacchan has finally found someone good for him." Midorya mumbled to himself, smiling. "Aw, you're so sweet, Deku!" Uraraka cooed. "A-AH, ME?! TH-THANK YOU!" Midorya yelped.
Bakugo pulled Todoroki to the boys bathroom and pinned him against the wall. "I want you.. I want you to be mine!" Bakugo yelled. "I-I am yours." Todoroki stuttered, confused. "I WANT YOU TO BE ONLY MINE!" Bakugo yelled frustrated, trying to take off Todoroki's jacket. "H-Hey! I can have friends, Katsuki!" Bakugo tried to kiss Todoroki but Todoroki covered his mouth. "Listen to me for a minute." Todoroki said.

"I want you just as much as you want me, okay? We can have friends, you don't need to be jealous of them because.. I don't like them the way I like you. It's different now.." Todoroki explained. Bakugo yanked Todoroki's hand off his mouth. "I'm not jealous, dumbass!" Bakugo yelled. "And stop with the name calling." Todoroki ordered. Bakugo stayed quiet.
Todoroki pulled up his jacket. "An-And.. We're new to this stuff... So.. Let's take it slow. As much as I like it I.. I don't understand this stuff yet." Todoroki seemed very stressed, which made Bakugo feel guilty. Bakugo took a step back, giving him space. "I figured that you wouldn't know much about this crap, and yet, I still rushed you into it..." Bakugo mumbled. "I'm sorry." Bakugo said, staring into Todoroki's eyes. Apologizing hurt his body, it made him want it gag but he did it anyway.
"It's.. Okay." Todoroki said feeling understood. "Thank you, Bakugo." Todoroki said. "I'm sorry to make you wa- "Don't finish that sentence! Anyway, I'll send you a location to a restaurant that has soba later on today. Meet me there." Bakugo said. Bakugo was about to walk away when Todoroki grabbed his wrist. Bakugo slowly turned and was met with a kiss on the cheek. "Shoto.." Bakugo said shocked. "I love you!" Todoroki mumbled running off, a shade a of pink.
