Chapter 15: Tree of Life's Snowstorm

In the Tree of Life, Kion was with Rani and Fuli as they're guarding the mountain pass

Fuli: So, why are we here again? 

Kion: Because Zono Cruel could be around without us even knowing. 

Rani: Kion's right, it's best we stay on patrol. Surak and Nirmala are getting the stuff we need to put a shield around the Tree of Life. 

Fuli: Hopefully it won't be that long. 

Then some snow starts falling from the sky

Kion: Huh? 

Fuli: Snow? 

Rani: Weird, we had snow places where it snows, but it never snows here. 

Fuli: Well, there is snow here. 

Kion: Can you girls stay here while I go to the Tree. 

Rani: Sure. 

Fuli: Okay. 

Kion heads over to the Tree and sees snow covered in it

Kiara: Kion. 

Kion: Mom, Dad, Kiara, you guys see the snow. 

Kiara: We do. 

Nala: I didn't know it could snow her. 

Kion: Me neither. 

Simba: Wait, see that symbol? 

Kion and the Royal Family look at the symbol that looks like Zono Cruel

Kion: Zono Cruel, of course. 

Simba: I thought he was the Fire King. 

Kion: This must be part of Zono's plan. I gotta go get Rani and Fuli. Kiara, can you get the Night Guard? 

Kiara: Yes. 

Kiara heads off and Kion goes to Rani and Fuli, and warns them about the Snow that's falling down

Rani: Zono Cruel? 

Kion: I know right? 

Fuli: This isn't good. 

Rani: Wait, it's not 4 months yet, the eclipse hasn't arrived. 

Kion: Maybe that snowstorm was a coincidence. 

Rani: I don't know, it could be him. 

Kion: C'mon, let's go to the tree, everyone's meeting there. 

At the Tree, Kion was disscussing to his and Rani's Night Pride that a Snowstorm has approached the Tree of Life and they might suspect it's Zono's doing

Beshte: This might explain the snow falling from the sky. 

Ono: Yeah, it never snowed like this before when we were in the Pridelands. 

Rani: Baliyo, Hora, are Surak and Nirmala back yet? 

Baliyo: Nope. 

Hora: Afraid not. 

Rani: I hope they come back soon.

Meanwhile, Surak and Nirmala are in the Secret Realm with Queen Narle

Surak: So where do we get that shield? 

Queen Narle: It's in Unicorn Cave. 

Nirmala: Unicorn Cave? 

Queen Narle: A long time ago, this realm was roamed by Unicorns. Until Zono Cruel killed them. 

Nirmala: That demon sure has no heart.
