One day in the Tree of Life, Kion and Rani were getting ready to announce the Tree of Life Games
Kion: This is pretty exciting.
Rani: I know.
Kion: Every year, these games show in the Tree of Life. I can't wait.
Kiara: Hey Kion.
Kion: Oh, hey sis.
Kiara: Is there any place to sign up for these games?
Kion: Right over there.
Kiara: Thanks.
As Kiara reports to Ullu, with he friends Tiifu and Zuri
Tiifu: Well, were competing again.
Zuri: Last year, we've to the Night Pride. Again! This will be different! We'll win for sure!
Kiara: Oh Zuri, it's not about winning.
Near the Mountain Pass, Marie, Comor and Malvis were in disguise as real lions, who just signed up for the Tree of Life Games
Malvis: So what are we doing here?
Marie: We are here to compete in the games.
Comor: Why?
Marie: Well, we are after the Rock of Gold.
Comor: The Rock of Gold?
Marie: That's the reward.
Malvis: What's so special about it?
Marie: Zono needs it so we can destroy the Circle of Life!
Malvis: That's the key?
Marie: To him, yes!! It has more power than you ever imagine.
Malvis: Interesting.
Later, the Games were about the begin. Kion and Rani are hosting the Games
Rani: Welcome one and all! To the Tree of Life Games, this year we have The Night Pride; Surak, Baliyo, Nirmala, Bunga, Fuli, Beshte, Ono and Anga, who are our last years winners.
Bunga: We'll win again this year!
Kion: Next we have, The Pridelanders; Kiara, Tiifu, Zuri and Vitani.
Zuri: You're going down Night Pride.
Fuli: Oh, we'll see about that!
Rani: Then, we have the Outlanders; Jasiri, Janja, Cheezi and Chungu.
Cheezi: Oh, yeah! We will win!
Kion: And finally, Mary, Zack and Stephie. Which never competed before.
Marie is disguised as Mary, Comor is disguised as Zack and Malvis is disguised as Stephie, so you know
Marie: Remember guys, we will win. If not, you'll be dead.
Comor: Alright.
Kion: Now, the first event is to run to the Mountain Pass and Back. Whichever team makes it back first wins.
Rani: On your mark! Get set! Go!!
They all start running to the Mountain Pass, Marie tries to cheat her way and pushes Janja out of the way and he gets help from The Night Pride and they all continue racing, then The Pridelanders won the first challenge
Kion: Way ago Pridelanders, even you sis.
Kiara: Thanks Kion.
Rani: Next Challenge, you all will be under attacked by lions. Luckily, we hired Vitani's friends.
Kion: Trust me, they're tough.
Shabaha, Kasi, Tazama and Imara come over
Fuli: Oh boy.
Rani: Get ready, get set go!
Teams start battling Vitani's guard. Marie and her lions try to win. But however, The Night Pride won this challenge
Rani: Good work team. You guys won.
Zuri: Oh, c'mon! Why didn't we won this time?
Kiara: Zuri, it's not about who wins.
Vitani: Kiara's right Zuri, we should be fair.
Zuri: Oh, big talk from the New Lion Guard leader.
After a few events, Marie and her lions still haven't won. The Night Pride, Pridelanders, and Outlanders were the only winners. Marie plans something big to get that rock
Kion: Now, your final challenge is to get that rock and place it on that big one. Whichever teammate places it first wins!
As everyone starts racing to get that rock. Marie uses her powers to get the rock easily, making all the other teams shocked
Surak: Huh?
Nirmala: How did she do that?
Marie: Ha! (Reveals herself)
Baliyo: Marie?
Marie: Ha! Surprised to see me?
Vitani: What do you want you Stone Lion!
Marie: Oh, the Rock of Gold!
Surak: Oh no. She must need it to get Zono's powers.
Marie: Yes! Only the evil lions can posse that! Which will be us!
Marie puts all the teammates in the cave nearby, so she, Comor and Malvis can win
Kiara: We have got to find a way out of here.
Vitani: And stop Marie before she wins!
Zuri: Wait, these are rocks! Hey Beshte, why not you move those rocks.
Beshte: Okay.
Beshte gets everyone out by using his strength
Fuli: How will we stop them?
Bunga: Hey Vitani, use your roar! That could help!
Vitani: No, I rather not. Something tells me that's cheating. And I could hurt her.
Bunga: She's a Stone Lion!
Vitani: Well, still.
Zuri: Then I'll get it!
Zuri goes to stop Marie with her friends cheering for her. Marie accidently drops the stone and Zuri grabs it and crosses the finish line
Kion: Way ago Zuri! The Pridelanders win!
Kiara: Way ago Zuri!
Zuri: Yeah, one heck of a win.
Marie, Comor and Malvis escape
Ono: Glad they didn't their hands on the Rock of Gold, it would give Zono Cruel the power he'll need.
Baliyo: Good game girls.
Vitani: Thanks Baliyo.
The Crowd goes wild as the Pridelanders win, back at Zono's Volcano, he was very upset that his plan didn't work thanks to Marie, Comor and Malvis. Now he's thinking of a new plan
