Chapter 7: Friendship?

On patrol, Kion and his friends were on Patrol. Vitani and Janja are with them, cause of the evil lion in the Circle of Life (Zono Cruel). They were helping Pinguino out of the hole

Pinguino: Will somebody get me out? 

Fuli: Relax, Mr. Penguin, were getting you out. 

Vitani: Man, this penguin is so annoying. 

Fuli: Tell me about. 

Anga: I got this, 

Anga gets Pinguino out of there

Pinguino: Thank you Anga. See guys, why not take advice from her. 

As Pinguino leaves

Bunga: Well, I could've saved him. 

Kion: Bunga, look, he's out of the hole. Imagine we left him in there. 

Bunga: Eh, why not use your new roar. 

Kion: I'm still practicing. 

Bunga: Doesn't matter. You can still test it out. 

Vitani: Bunga! 

Bunga: Why aren't you trusting me to handle this? 

Fuli: Because of the last times you try to help us. 

Bunga: Yeah, well, you know. 

Ono: Kion? Is it okay for us to take a break? 

Kion: Sure, we should on patrol, just in cause, but I am tired. 

Vitani: And besides, it's cold here. (shivering) 

Bunga: So? You have fur. Your faking it! 

Kion: Bunga, be nice. 

Bunga: I am being nice. 

Bunga leaves, as they all head back to the Tree, with Kion a little concerned about Bunga's behavior

Vitani: Hey, I know things have been tough Kion, but we'll get trough it. 

Kion: (sigh) I know, it's just... Bunga... 

Vitani: Why him? 

Kion: I know he's my best friend, but lately, he hasn't been acting like that. 

Vitani: What do you mean. 

Kion: He's telling me to use the roar, over and over again. Only this time in deeper situations. 

Vitani: Huh, and what else? 

Kion: He's gotten somewhat pretty selfish. 

Vitani: Wow... 

Kion: Yeah. 

Vitani: Well, don't let Bunga bother you. He's probably just trying to get into your head. 

Kion: He's always been in my head. 

Vitani: Trust me, I've had stuff like this. My mother, Zira, she's been in my head sometimes. She wants me to be like her. 

Kion: Huh, feels like how Scar wants me to be like him. 

Vitani: Yeah, he's the reason you got a scar. Maybe I should get one. Maybe without venom and maybe healed quickly. 

Kion: Yeah, but I think your fine without a scar. My scar is just what make me, me. Not like Scar. 

Vitani: Right. I was just kidding. I don't wanna get a scar. 

Kion: Good! 

Ullu: Kion! Kion!
