Chpater 19: Christmas Story (Part 2)

The Next Day, Kiara and Rani were waking up Kion since it's Christmas

Kiara: Wake up! Wake up! It's Christmas! 

Kion: (wakes up) Yeah, I'm up. 

Kion and his family go outside to see everyone

Beshte: Merry Chrismas Kion. 

Kion: Thanks Beshte. 

Pinguino: You know, Christmas is pretty much my favorite time of the year. 

Tangaagim: It's mine too. The best holiday in the world. 

Thruston: I know right? 

Makini: Well guys, seems like that there's gonna be more snow coming down.

Fuli: That's great. I remember when Bunga use to run around in the snow. I hate to admit it, but things aren't really the same without him. 

Kiara: Well, me and Kovu are gonna go to the mountains. 

Rani: I'll be with you 2. Coming Kion? 

Kion: Be right there, I'm gonna hang out Mom and Dad for a while. 

Rani: Okay, why not you use the Holiday Crystal. It still works today. 

Nala: That's a great, I'm really enjoying it so far. 

Kion: Well, let's go have some more fun with it. 

Rani: It's in the back of the Tree inside the base. 

Kion: Thanks Rani. See ya soon.

Rani: You too. 

Kion and his parents go inside the base of the Tree to get the Christmas Crystal so they can keep enjoying watching their Christmas memories

Simba: Well, let's have some more good times. 

Kion: What memory do you guys want to see. 

Nala: I want to remember what we did on the day we got back. 

Kion: Okay, here it comes. 

In the Past: 

Simba, Nala, Kion and Kiara were just heading back to Pride Rock from their day in the Snowy Woods

Kiara: Well, that was a fun day. 

Kion: I know right. 

Simba: Well, we sure did have a Merry Christmas. 

Rafiki: You guys really for your paintings. 

Nala: Yeah, were ready. Right guys? 

Kion: I am. 

Kiara: Me too. 

They all get in position

Kion: I don't wanna forget this Christmas. 

Kiara: Me neither. This is so far the best Christmas of my life. 

Simba: It will be the best Christmas of my life too Kiara. 

The Royal Family and Rafiki all start laughing

In the Present: 

Kion: Wait, Bunga wasn't there. 

Simba: That was strange. He was in the painting with us. Was he? 

Nala: Hmm... now that you mention it. 

Kion: Do you have the painting with you? 

Simba gets the painting out of his leaf bag and they all notice that Bunga isn't in it.

Kion: Nope, no Bunga. 

Simba: He must have felt awful that I forgot him. (feels bad) 

Nala: And felt even worse year after year. 

Simba: Maybe Bunga was right about how we treated. I didn't my job. And I was defiantly not a good enought  brother to him. 

Kion: But Dad...

Nala: That is not true. 

Simba: But the proof is right here. 

Kion: A painting doesn't mean anything. 

Nala: You were still looking out for him. Kiara would do the same for Kion. 

Simba: No, maybe it wasn't just a painting. It was probably more than that. 

Kion: I'm sorry dad, I never should've brought out those memories. 

Nala: Maybe it's time to look at the future. 

Kion: Let's go meet up with Kiara, Kovu and Rani. 

Simba: Good idea. I'll catch up. 

Kion and Nala go ahead while Simba still feels bad for Bunga

Simba: (sigh) I can't believe I forgot my own brother. I'm so sorry... 

Simba goes with Kion and Nala. Then, some ice slipped out of the bag

Kion: Wait, I didn't you got ice earlier. 

Simba: I didn't. That sounds weird. 

Nala: Then, who did it. 

Kion: Hold on, this will only take a minute. 

Kion goes to the Mountain to use the Crystal to find out who did it

In the Past: 

Bunga was about get some ice while the Royal Family were about to go

Zazu: Bunga. 

Bunga: Zazu? 

Zazu: It is time to return to Pride Rock. 

Bunga: I just need a few more minutes, please? 

Zazu: But if we don't leave right away, you'll miss the painting. Simba told me to make sure you were there. 

Bunga: There will other paintings someday. But right now, all I want to do is get some ice and give to them to my family. Even Simba. 

Bunga gets starts cutting the ice

In the present: 

Simba: Looks like I didn't forget Bunga at all. 

Kion: And he didn't forget you. 

Simba: You know what, you go on son, me and your mom will stay here. 

Kion: You sure. 

Simba: Your the King, do whatever you want, it's Christmas. 

Kion goes to the mountains where Kiara, Kovu and Rani were

Kion: Hey guys. Sorry I'm late. 

Rani: No worries.

Kiara: Yeah, glad you arrived. 

Kion: Well, I wouldn't miss this view. 

When Night falls, Kion, The Night Pride, Vitani's Lion Guard, and Royal Family all go out to watch the Christmas Star

Simba: Well, looks like it's a Merry Christmas after all. Oh, hey Kiara. 

Kiara: Yeah? 

Simba: Don't forget about your brother, okay? 

Kiara: I don't see how that is possible. 

Kion: She's right dad, like how you couldn't forget Bunga. 

At Bunga and Binga's mountain, Bunga was looking at the star as well, thinking about his former friends

Bunga: Merry Christmas guys, even you Kion.
