Chapter 4:

Hazel POV:

You know, waking up at 6 in the morning isn't my thing. So I ended up sleeping till 7.15. I can tell you one thing for sure, Zayn was not happy waiting for me for ten more minutes. It was actually hilarious, when I went down the driveway he looked ice cold and when I saw his look, I just wanted to burst out laughing.

I actually looked good in a uniform, though I hated the blazer. I pulled my skirt above my knees but not too short that my ass would show, a white blouse, tie, blazer, black ballerinas and black tights. What a sexy uniform, I must say. Couldn't they have done it a bit more nicer?

We started walking in silence and after a few minutes Zayn stopped suddenly turning on his right and walking up a driveway to another large house. I furrowed my eyebrows at his back and walked after him.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

He breathed out noisily and rang the doorbell without answering me.

"Zayn!?" I asked, my voice getting a bit louder. Before he could answer the front door opened and a curly haired boy came into view. When he saw Zayn his face brightened and he gave him the usual man hugs boys do. I arched an eyebrow at the both of them and silently cleared my throat but they both heard me and turned around to look at me. The curly haired boy's eyes slightly widened and Zayn studied me curiously, as though reading me like an open book which I wasn't.

"Haz this is Hazel, Hazel this is Harry," Zayn introduced us and he took a hand out and I took mine out and he shook it shortly then smiled at me. I managed to muster up a smile but it soon faded away. "Got everything Haz?"

Harry nodded and grabbed his backpack from next to the front door and slung it over one shoulder and closed the door. We continued walking, Zayn and Harry chatting all the time while I stood on the side feeling awkward.

Why couldn't my parents just drive me to my first time at school? Why couldn't they be like all the other normal parents? But no. Work was much more important than their only child and making sure she was okay and doing fine. I started chewing on my bottom lip, a habit of mine when I was anxious or excited or worried. I wasn't even taking any notice of what they were talking. I was too busy thinking on what was going to happen today; with who was I supposed to stay with during lunch time? Was it going to go smooth or was I going to mess everything up like I usually do?

"Does she talk?" I heard Harry whisper to Zayn and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Yes, I do," I replied and they both fell silent.

We continued walking and after around five more minutes we came into view of the school. I inhaled in a  quick breath as I shivered. Zayn probably noticed because he smiled a tiny smile.

"You still have to register?" Harry asked me timidly, afraid that I was probably going to snap at him.

"Yeah, don't know where though," I replied as we continued walking, girls staring at Zayn and Harry, I could see them drooling at them and then they noticed me with them and sent me daggers. "Why are people looking?"

They both chuckled and Zayn smirked. "You can say that we're the popular-ish group in the school," Harry replied and winked at a girl, her face turning bright red.

I rolled my eyes and forced myself from smiling. "Any who, where's the office or secretary?"

Before one of them could reply, a scream stopped them.

"BABY!" a blond haired girl screamed and ran towards us and jumped on Zayn, wrapping her legs around his waist and smashing her lips onto his. His eyes widened at her sudden actions, he stumbled a bit backwards but quickly recovered, placing his hands beneath her thighs to hold her steady and kissed her back.
