Clarity and Insanity

Luorix felt the sun rays on her face, and she slowly opened her eyes, she gets up from her bed, raised her arms to warm up her cold muscles. She still has a cold from yesterday's heavy rain, but she chooses to do her work. She took a bath and went down to cook some breakfast but to her surprise, she saw Levi there chopping sausages while wearing the cute peach-colored lace apron that she bought and customized for her cooking.

Levi noticed her presence and looked at her and said, "Are you hungry?"

"Not yet why are you doing my job?" She replied then she crossed her arms and gave him a smirk.

"You're not feeling okay last night so I decided to help you." He said coldly but she is smiling at him.

Their light conversation got interrupted when Captain Lucius came out of nowhere and put his arm on Luorix's shoulder that startling her. Levi got annoyed but his stoic face remained, and he stopped chopping the sausages.

"Good morning my doctor, what's our breakfast?" Captain Lucius said and looked at her. Her face went gloomy, and Levi noticed that.

"It's Captain Levi who will cook the breakfast. I'm not feeling well." Luorix replied coldly and she tries to remove Lucius's arm from her shoulder.

"What's with that attitude Luorix? Aren't you happy that your soon-to-be boyfriend is here?" Captain Lucius said then he looked at Levi to annoy him. But Levi showed him that he's not affected.

"It's just that.." She replied and she's really uncomfortable being with him.

Levi raised his left eyebrow and said, "Oi, dipshit can't you see that she's uncomfortable with what you're doing?"

"Huh? What are you saying?! Stop acting like a hero to her just because you kissed her! I love this woman and I know she loves me!" Captain Lucius exclaimed then he walks towards Levi, but he kept his distance from him. Levi did not react to his words but he's looking straight into his eyes.

"I don't know what are you to her, and I don't care how many times you kiss her because, in the end, she's still going to choose me! Why?! Because she owes me her life right now! She will not be part of the Mili – ta..." Captain Lucius said and Luorix approached him and said, "Hey, stop it." but he pushed her away and hit her head with the door jamb.

Levi got shocked by what Captain Lucius did to Luorix and in his rage, he walked towards Captain Lucius then grabbed his neck and pinned him on the wall, and shouted, "Okay! Now you got my attention asshole! I warned you several times about hurting her and now you pushed your luck."

Levi felt a strange amount of strength and he was able to lift Captain Lucius a little bit.

The people inside the castle rushed into the kitchen and saw what's happening. Eren and Petra saw Luorix lying on the floor and holding her head, so they rushed to help her get up. It is the first time they saw Levi show an intense emotion like anger no, he's furious right now.

"If you love her, you will treat her right! You will not tell her that she owes you, her life! You will just do anything just to make her safe! That is love motherfucker!" Levi said and he's glaring at Captain Lucius who can't breathe properly now.

"L-Levi, stop – stop it please." Luorix said while holding her head and he looked at her and was about to loosen his grip on Captain Lucius's neck but when he saw her head is bleeding, he tightens his grip on Captain Lucius's neck.

"I don't want to see your fucking face and your shitty squad here in our headquarter! Go back to Trost and report this to the higher-ups and we'll see if they will side to you after you hurt our doctor." Levi said and he let go of Captain Lucius who coughs and gasps for air to breathe.
