Inevitable Reality

"Oi, it's already lunch! Get up there I'm cleaning!" It's Levi's voice Luorix knows but she's too tired to get up. For two weeks of staying with them, he always scolds her because he says that she can't clean the house properly but who is she to complain? She doesn't have work there and she doesn't even know if there's a clinic that will accept her. She has seen Attack on Titan and she knows that only on the surface have clinics.

"I'm still tired." Luorix said in her sleepy voice, and she crouched and hid her face with the blanket.

"Oi! filthy brat your food has gone cold! Get up there!" Luorix heard him, she wants too to get up, but her body is tired from cleaning the whole house using her bare hands. Suddenly, Levi picked her up and was about to transfer her to the couch. She was so shocked that he didn't throw her outside. Their eyes met for a few seconds, their cheeks had a red flush, but Levi felt embarrassed and panicked that's why he let go of her and she fell on the ground.

"Ouch!! My back!!" Luorix said while she's giving Levi a death stare. "He could've been gentler." She said to herself while she's standing up.

"Tch!" he said and send death stares at her too as she lies down on the couch. Levi continued cleaning and didn't demand Luorix to help him because he know that she's tired. He's just shy to show that he cares.

"Mom, dad.." She said while her eyes are closed and whispered that, hoping that he didn't hear her. When she finally opened her eyes, she saw that Levi is still cleaning the house. She noticed that he cleans everything even the under of the table and chairs which is not seen in the manga.

The door opened and Isabel entered the house with her dirty shoes Levi almost kicked her out. She brought some eggs, tomatoes, onions, and potatoes.

"Isabel, is that our lunch?" Levi asked her while holding a mop.

"Yep! These are the food that I can only get." Isabel said and yes they are feeding Luorix food that came from stealing but what can she do? A decent job is hard to find here in the Underground City but she's so thankful because they never let her starve.

"What are we gonna do with that? We don't know how to cook." Levi said but he is really good at cooking he just want to test Luorix if she will initiate.

"I'm sorry I can't get some bread from the merchants." Isabel said and her face went gloomy.

"Uhm.. I can cook don't worry." Luorix said and they were shocked when she said that. Levi didn't expect that.

"Really? Luorix?!!!" Isabel said happily and she nod as an answer.

"Yey!!! We're not gonna starve today!" Isabel exclaimed and everyone can see the happiness in her eyes.

Luorix stood up and was lowkey proud as she goes to the kitchen and prepared the food. She decided to cook omelets since they do have eggs, tomatoes, and onions also, fry the potatoes so they will have carbohydrates since they don't have bread. Isabel is just watching Luorix peel the potatoes and onions she's amazed that she can cook.

"Luorix, may I know how you learned cooking food?" Isabel asked her.

"Well, this is the course that I want to go for my college degree." Luorix answered her while she's chopping the potatoes.

"Course? College degree? What's that?" Isabel asked and she's really confused.

"Well, a college degree is four years of subject courses in school that you have to take to pursue your dream job in my world... I mean on the surface... " Luorix said and Isabel's face just said wow and if her energy can sparkle, it would be all around the house.
