Logan didnt notice - until they were sat together with the notebook open in front of them - how much he had learned from the few hours he had spent with Remus. He had jotted down anything and everything, ranging from the movements of Remus' hands and the facial expressions the warlock made with each spell.

"Whats that about?" Remus asked, pointing to a part of the page.

"Thats about your levitation abilities - the hand gestures you do, the side effects, and this bit over here is about your matter manipulation-"

"Manipu- what?" Remus interrupted, not having the slightest idea what any of these words meant.

"Manipulation: It means to control, in this instance changing something from a solid to a liquid to a gas, or vice versa," The prince explained, using vague hand gestures as he spoke.

Remus nodded, reading over the pages as he flicked through the notebook. His face looked concentrated as he read over the words, until it became clear to Logan that the warlock was just staring, and not properly reading.

"...I don't get it."

"Get what?"

"...Any of it."

Logan looked up at the other, before his eyes flicked down to the pages. His handwriting was in no way illegible, the strong words able to be read by anyone.

"Remus... what does this say?" The prince asked, pointing to a rather simple word on the page.

The warlock squinted at the word, almost glaring at it before shrugging. "I dunno."

"Were you ever taught to read...?" The prince could almost hear the cogs turning in Remus' head as the other thought for a moment. He was what, 18? 19? and didn't know how to read. He had pointed to the word 'similar' which he considered to be relatively easy, though... maybe not for all.

Remus nodded hesitantly as the prince's earlier question, "I was taught... just not very well," he said softly.

They sat in comfortable silence for a few moments as Logan thought it over, before nodding to himself. He shuffled until he was sitting between Remus' legs, startling the other slightly.

"Can you summon a book?" The prince said as Remus' arms setted around his waist.

The warlock nodded, and with a small mutter and a wave of his hand, a book appearing on Logans lap.

"Perfect," He said, opening it to the first page and holding it where they could both see, "Now, i'll read aloud and you can follow, deal?"

Remus nodded slowly, resting his chin on Logan's shoulder as the prince proceeded to read. He stayed slow as to allow Remus to understand, making sure to explain more complex words. Remus smiled, his arms tightening around Logan and holding the smaller man close as he listened to him read. The warlock followed Logans words with his eyes, scanning the pages and taking in the information. He would stop Logan every once in a while, just to ask what a word meant or to explain how to pronounce it.

Logan happily complied, teaching Remus one of his favourite hobbies made his stomach flutter, and the way Remus' lips pulled into a wide grin after getting something correct made his heart skip a beat. He had never found himself feeling like this before, but he understood what it meant - Patton had explained it many times before, a feeling so strong he thought it had been nothing but a fairy tale, a fantasy.

Remus had taken over reading, for the time being, slowly reading the words as though they were foreign to his tongue, but he kept going strong. Logan helped the warlock with anything he stumbled over, but primarily left him to it.

"Logan, what does this one say?" He said, pointing to a rather complex word that had cropped up.

"Omnipotent," Logan said softly, "It means to have unlimited power. Logan smiled as Remus nailed the pronunciation with only slight hesitance, "Perfect." He watched as Remus grinned, clapping giddily and giggling.

"Am I.. technically omnipotent...?" The warlock asked quietly.

"I suppose so, yes. I think it depends how much you strengthen your abilities."

Remus giggled, pulling Logan closer who laughed softly as they fell back, the book long forgotten. The prince rested his head on Remus' chest, gazing up at him with a light hum.

"Im very proud of you," He said softly after a few moments of silence, "Well done." His words were nothing but a whisper, but they meant a lot to the warlock. He smiled down at the prince, genuine appreciation and admiration for the one in front of him displayed on his face.

Logan wrapped an arm around the other's waist, cuddling close. He had grown to like having Remus' arms around him, finding comfort in the embrace and though he usually despised people touching him, he couldn't help but lean further into the warlock. Remus' hand came up to run through Logan's hair, gently massaging his head as the Prince's eyes slipped closed. He didn't sleep, simply just finding comfort in the touch and allowing himself to relax into the safe arms of Remus.

"I'm sorry for Janus interrupting us earlier, I can bring back the stars if you wanna continue looking," Remus whispered.

Logan shook his head slightly, "Its okay," He whispered back, eyes remaining closed, "I wouldn't want to disturb them. Besides, this is nice."

Remus smiled as he looked down at Logan, gaze softening as he met the blue eyes of the prince in his arms. Logan shifted so that his head was rested on Remus' shoulder, the hand in his hair coming down to settle on his waist. His eyes glanced to the others lips, mind wandering. How would they feel against his own...? Would he be allowed to find out...? What would his mother say?

His thoughts were interrupted when Remus' hand cupped his cheek, eyes meeting. No words were spoken, Logan simply nodding before he was leaning forwards and their lips met. The hold on his waist tightened as Remus pulled Logan closer, lips disconnecting before meeting once more. The kiss was slow and soft, the warlock not wanting to scare his precious prince away, arm around him protectively as the other hand gently traced his cheekbone.

They pulled away slowly, looking up at each other as soft laughs escaped their lips. Remus pressed a kiss to Logan's forehead before bringing him closer, kissing the prince's nose, then cheeks, then a final one to his lips. "You have no idea how long i've wanted to do that," He breathed.

"Me too," Logan whispered.

They didn't bother getting changed, comfortable in each others arms as Remus pulled the blankets over them. He held Logan close, who closed his eyes, head on the warlocks chest, before pressing a kiss to the princes's hair.

They fell asleep contently with smiles playing on their lips, not a care in the world as the timer slowly counted down...
