Adeline's pov:
i was at the back of maths when i heard the door open and a boy i've never recognised before enters. I glare at him. He stands at the front of the class waiting to be introduced. "Everyone this is Jude Madden you may recognise him from last year after he well-". he pauses for a second and Jude looks furious" moved. after he moved".
A few mins later the bell rings. I walk out and see my best friend. Riley Laurier painter extradoninaire, best writer ever, horrific at maths and physics. "so did you hear about the new kid he's totally hot and he was in jail after he beat up Rocco Gonzalez to the point where he had a fractured limb".
"yeah he's in my maths class". Then I see Cole Lennon Riley's somewhat boyfriend
. "heyy ladies this is my new best friend no offence Adel Jude Madden". He does jazz hands and Jude stands there unamused.
"whats with the excitement on a Monday morning at" i look at my watch "9 in the morning".
I see Jude walking so i catch up and walk with him. " hi i'm Adeline or adel my friends call me adel i mean not that we're friends or anything well uh i think we have maths together". Jude doesn't answer. "don't wanna talk thats fine we can stay silent".Jude speaks up startling me
" why aren't you scared of me?".
" I don't know am i supposed to be?"
. " well everyone is just because i beat up Rocco Gonzalez so badly he broke a limb. His arm i broke his arm for goodness sake it could be worse".
"well he's fine now he's in my english class so you're not that scary just very tall". i laugh
"what about your friend whats her name Riley is she scared of me?".
"oh god no she thinks you're like insanely hot she hasn't stopped talking about you i'm convinced she's got a shrine by now", we both laugh
"well let's hope not" he laughs.
