Riley's pov:
Thank god he's not actually moving if he did i don't know how i would comprehend. I told him i wasn't ready for a relationship but I couldn't deny i wasn't in love with him. Oh my god I'm in love with him. I am in love with Cole Lennon one of my best friends since i was at least 4. I need to tell Adeline. I decided to message her
Riley: Adeline Adeline Adeline i need advice rn rn rn
Adeline: okay okay what's up
Riley: I just admitted to myself i was in love with Cole
Adeline: OH MY GOD I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIs MOMENT FOR YEARS
Riley: okay okay chill just should i tell him??
Adeline: hell yeah you should
Riley: okay i'll tell him tomorrow
Coles pov:
I was freaking out. I never freak out god what's wrong with me. All I ever do is think about her. I always look at the paintings she's made me over the years. But one of the recent ones seemed a bit off it was more idk romantic which is weird considering she said she wasn't ready for whatever we were.
God why do i keep thinking about her 25/8 all the time. No i couldn't be. I'm not in love with her last time i was i got completely wrecked from it she destroyed me. But i was. I Cole Lennon was undeniably in love with Riley Laurier,
I gotta tell Jude. I walk over to his house and knock on his door. He answers. "What's up" he says looking tired.
"nothing much just realised i'm in love with Riley how about you?"
"woah woah woah spin back a little bit, your in love with riley?". "i'm so happy for you dude you should tell her".
"i will soon just give me time".
"okay well since your here let's hang". I walk in and see Adeline on the sofa with Grace looking smug with a smirk on her face. "woah woah woah what is adel doing here and why does she look so smug".
"we were hanging so now we're all hanging together".
Adeline's pov:
AHA Riley and Cole were in love with eachother but they don't know how eachother feels. Riley said she's gonna paint a painting to confess her love like she's been doing over the years. Me,Jude and Cole were hanging when Cole had to go. To be honest i mostly hanged with Grace. "Hey you can stay if you want i don't mind". Jude says quietly as Grace was sleeping.
"are you sure i don't wanna intrude".
"you won't be because i offered you to stay".
"okay thank you".
I go upstairs and Jude let me change into some of his clothes as i was in jeans and he left to put grace to bed. I hopped into bed and i was out like a light. As i was falling asleep i felt the bed sink and felt arms wrap around me. Jude. I layed awake for a while thinking about everything. Like me and Jude what were we?. I guess it's fine for now Adeline just stay in the moment. I kept thinking about how my Dad was murdered and no one knows who did it. It's my job to find out who did.

sooo what'd you think about this chapter. Riley and Cole may confess they're love for eachother and some jude and adeline romance in there. If you think of it and want to comment who's your fave character. (personally i love riley and cole because of their personality but also love adeline and jude they're great too).
