Riley's pov:
I was painting a picture to tell cole i was in love with him but didn't know what to paint. I was hanging with Adeline when she speaks up. "you got any clue of what to paint riley".
"no i'm freaking out rn this is bloody hard all the thoughts normally come naturally to me but not today". "your just stressed riley i'll google some". she grabs her laptop and starts googling ideas. "AHA how about flowers in the shapes of 'i love you'". "that's a good idea actually". "i know right i'm so smart like jude could never". Her phone then starts ringing. "speak of the devil" i say sarcastically while drawing the flowers. "oh haha".
Adeline's pov:
Jude rang me whilst i was at riley's saying Grace wants to see me. I walk up to his door and immediately Grace answers. She runs up and hugs me. "Adeline!!! I missed you so much Jude is so boring oh my god". i burst out laughing
"i understand the pain".
"I can hear you!!" Jude shouts from the sofa. I sit down next to him resting my head on his shoulder slowly falling asleep but mostly because i needed sleep as i have a test tomorrow and stayed up all night studying. "you alright there adel".
"i'm fine just tired".
"care to tell me why?".
"i stayed up all night studying".
"you should've studied last week".
"So have you found any clues on my Dads murder case yet".
"Yes yes i have actually". He says whilst pulling out a notebook from his bag. "he was murdered by a shotgun and he was shot in the head as i guessed and they haven't found the gun yet".
"oh wow" then it all clicked. "wait do u have a date from his murder?".
"uh yes 25th may 2021". the day my mum was crying. "Jude we need to go to my house right now i think i know who killed him".
We run to my house after leaving Grace with her aunt. I run in not seeing my mum, she must be at work. I look through her draws and see nothing. Then i hear the door go. Must be my mum. But the footsteps were a lot more heavier. Could only mean one thing. My brother was back from his job in the usa. "Adeline!!!" Noah shouts i run down the stairs and give him a hug not realising jude is behind me. "Oh Jude this is my bro-". I get cut off by Noah putting his hand out.
"Jude Madden nice to see you again".
"Noah Caldwell you too". What on earth.
"Oh we found out something about dads death". "yeah i know he was murdered" Noah says randomly. "How'd you know?".
"He recovered from Cancer months ago, I am the one who gets the calls remember".
"Right well i found something of mums".
"what is it". I pull out the gun from my back pocket with my gloved hand. "I think our mother killed our Dad". He looks shocked.

bet you wasn't expecting that :). So what'll happen next now that Adeline's brother is back and he knows about the murder. Noah and Adeline's Mother could've killed her own husband but why?. Questions, questions,questions. Questions shall be answered soon ;).
