Adeline's pov:
it was another cold day in December at school. I walk to my first period class alone when i hear Riley "Dude wait up- ADELINE WAIT UP". I stop. "What's going on your not replying to me or Cole".
"i'm sorry my dads chemo stopped working so i was upset and i ran off and i ended up at a friends house". i say getting teary eyed she pulls me into a hug.
"i'm sorry adel i cant believe what u must be feeling if u ever need to talk i'm here and always will be i promise"
it was first period.math. Jude is next to me acing every question. he then speaks up and smirks. "take a picture it'll last longer".
"i wasn't- never mind" he laughs. the bell then rings. i pack up and then see him waiting for me and we walk together.
"thank you for letting me stay on saturday i'm sorry i showed up randomly i didn't know it was your house".
"anytime grace can't shut up about you i think you've got a fan".
"awwww thats adorable".
"maybe i could stay at yours next time" he laughs.
"oh god no a girls room is very private".
"yeah it's filled with glitter and pictures of puppies right?" he laughs.
"how very dare you it's one box of glitter and one picture of a puppy so shut it you".
Jude's pov:
me and Cole were hanging out when he started talking. "so hows it going with you and Adel???".
"dude what are you talking about". "
oh come on i see the way you look at her your like in love".
"no i'm not we're just friends".
"oh yeah? then who's hair tie is that cause i know full well it's not yours".
"she spent the night because she was upset and fell asleep she was on my driveway".
"well look at you being all nice".
" shut up" i laugh and shove him.
"dude you almost killed me and i am so gonna beat you".
