Adeline's pov:
me and riley were at the local diner when she spoke up. "how's it going with you and jude???".
"i don't know what you mean we're just friends and i spent the night at his house as i was upset and fell asleep".
"it's so obvious he likes you though the way you both look at eachother though it's sickingly cute".
"shush and drink your milkshake before the diner closes you idiot". we both laugh.
"how are you and cole?".
"not that good actually we had an argument as he wanted a real relationship but i said i wasn't ready and to just give me time and he got mad". she says starting to cry. i give her a side hug.
"hey hey hey it's gonna be okay it's just cole he's over sensitive he'll get over it don't worry about it too much okay?".
"okay".
"okay".
"stop with the the fault in our stars quotes adel". we both laugh hard. that's what she said <3
it was a friday at school and it was maths again. i catch jude looking at me and decide to quote his once used catch phrase. "take a picture it'll last longer".
"did u just use my own quote against me?".
" yes yes i did".
"okay then". it was now lunch and me and jude see riley and cole sitting together massive smiles on their faces and cole's arm on riley's shoulder as she leans into him. " care to explain what's going on?" i question.
"oh right we're together now". me and jude look at eachother shocked.
"very snazzy" (pronounced shnazzy btw).
jude's pov:
great now that riley and cole are together. Coles gonna never stop talking about me asking adeline out. I decide to walk adeline home today and she asks if i want to come in i politely accept and i see her mum. she looks upset and fragile. "hiya i'm jude i'm adeline's friend from school".
"oh nice to meet you dear ignore me i'm slightly upset nowadays oh oh oh i forgot to introduce myself i'm Jackie".
"nice to meet you i'm sorry for the news you have received about your husband and i'm sorry for letting adeline stay last saturday she fell asleep after she rushed out of here and it was late and didn't want her to walk in the dark".
"I think she's like in love with you know".
"well what can i say the ladies love me".
"lies straight up lies".
"pretty lies though right?" i said.
"pretty lies? what the hell are those???".
"like good lies that make u happy and not feel betrayed".
"oh well from now on tell me pretty lies and not the bad ones".
"deal". we shake on it. pretty little lies sounds good to me.
