PoV. Sal

Huh? whats that hole over there? It's so big....
'Excuse me, Mr Fisher.'

Wait.. that voice sounds awful familiar...
'Sal, wake up!'

shit.

I lift my head up from my desk, Mrs Packerton woke me up. I just hope I'm not in trouble!

'That doesn't look like math to me.' Her old voice sounded rusty
'Oh sorry, I must have dosed off. I already finished the test.' After those words leave my mouth Travis turns around. He looks a bit strangely between me and my Testpaper on my desk.

'I know, dear. You Aced it aswell, very good. Just try to stay awake for the remainder of class, okay?' She was very nice to me, Travis still staring. weird-

'Sure, it won't happen again.' Travis Face changed, anger formed in his Eyes.
'And Mr Phelps. Eyes on your own paper!

Travis surely doesn't want to look away, but Mrs Packerton is the Teacher and if he doesn't listen, he might end up in detention again. 'Humph!' annoyed he turns back to his test.

'Class is almost over. Make sure everyone hands in their tests before leaving.' I look over to Travis again. So far I know he hates sitting near the front, but Mrs Packerton changed the seat plan a while back.

Travis hisses something, I can't make out what it is. He scribbles something before he brings it to the front. I grab my stuff and leave the Classroom, on my way to the lockers comes Ash to me.

We have Physics together, so we walk together. We talk a bit before Travis shows up, looking really mad.

'Hey, Freak!' He calls. Ash and I both know that he's angry as fuck again

'Nobody likes a goodie-two-shoes, Saaaally Face!' Almost laughing. Hm. Alright, two can play that game.

'Nobody likes a cliché bully, Traaaavis.' Okay. That pisses him off.

'Don't you have something better to do?' Ash steps next to me and crosses her Arms

'Shut up bitch! I wasn't talking to you!' Rude as always. Stupid Bully.

'You know, if you took that stick out of your Ass you may actually enjoy yourself for once.' Travis leaves that in shock for a moment, obviously not expecting that.

'...Maybe even make a friend or two.' Travis immediatly turned to me, as if I crossed the line or something.

'Fuck of, faggot! I have more friends then you'll ever have!' We all know thats not true. If you had so many friends then why would you always sit alone in the Cafeteria and ignore everyone else?

'You kiss your Daddy with that tongue? I'm sure he...' Travis fist lands on my Mask. I hear how he runs away afterwards.

'What the hell, asshole?!' Ashley is like real mad and hisses after him.

'Are you alright Sal?' She always cares for us.

'I'm fine.' I can't get more out. It's a lie, it hurts.

'Come on, let's report that jerk!' Ashley grabs my Arm, but I refuse.

'No. Don't worry about it. That'll just make things worse, trust me. I've dealt with bigger bullys than Travis before.' I remember my past "friends". They broke my Mask before, so this isn't a big deal right now.

'Sal, you're bleeding.' Ashley steps closer. She looks worried. I am? Actually I didn't notice-

'I'm okay, really.' I can't stand when Ash is worried. She is way to caring to others.

'Here, let's use my Bandanna.' she takes out a redish fabric and steps way to close.

Ashley grabs the lower straps of my mask. I couln't bring out anything. What is she doing?!
'Wait, hold on- I- you can't- I'm-'

My try to stop her go unheard and she lifts my mask. I lost my Voice. She puts the fabric on the fresh wound and smiles.

'There. Looks like it was just a small scratch. Don't worry, you can hardly see it!' She neither looks away or has a disgusted emotion, just a warm smile. It calms me really much, knowing she doesn't judge me for how I look underneath.

'Ha... Thanks, Ash.' She lowers my mask and I set it up correctly. Larry comes around a corner and sees us.

'Dude, what happened?' He said, while walking over to us. He is very protective over me, probably because I don't defend myself in fights, not because I can't but simply because I'm against violence.

'Was it Travis again? That prick! I'll kill him!' Ofcourse. Larry about to kill Travis again, like everytime-

'Larry, I'm fine. It's okay, don't worry about it.' That didn't calm him down, he looks next to us seemingly looking for Travis.

Ash steps in his View 'Sal's right, if we stir the pot it could just make things worse.' Larry doesn't seem to be happy with her statement.

'Not if he's dead!' He growls.

'Then he'll probably just haunt the school and we'd be stuck with that bonehead for the next two years.' Ashley responds. And that comes from someone who doesn't believe in ghosts?

'Ha! Says the group skeptic.' That seemingly annoyed her. She looks between Larry and me before she continues.

'You know I love you guys, but the ghost stories are a bit much even for me' Before I could say anything Larry growls between the conversation

'So we're really gonna let that Travis thing go?' And comes the protective best friend again.

'It's not worth it. Plus, think about it, who knows what his home life is like? He's got a lot of pent up rage, there must be a reason!' I open my thoughts, remembering of how he acted like at the Church Event. Neither Larry or Ash seem to believe me.

'I'm pretty sure he's just angry that they switched Bologna Sandwich Day to tomorrow.' Ashley puts up. Right, Travis just loves these disgusting sandwiches. However, he's the only one.

'Heh.' Larry calmed down a bit.

'Seriously, I've never seen anyone love the crappiest lunch day so much.' Ashley rolls her eyes.
'It's like a prison meal. And he doesn't even like Pizza Fridays! Who doesn't like Pizza?! It's inhuman!' She says, crossing her Arms again. She's right, who doesn't like Pizza?

'Maybe he's an Alien?' Larry jokes. He's seemingly fine again, luckily.

'Ha, thats all we need.' I say, while Ashley chuggles.

'Psst, Larry. I'll help you kill Travis when Sal isn't looking!' She whispers over to Larry. Jokingly raging I turn over to her 'I heard that!'.

Larry and Ash chuggle before we all end up laughing.
Man, I really love my friends.
