Bittersweet Blueberrys | Sal x Travis (Break)

- Chapter 15 -

PoV. Sal

Larry and I sit in his room, talking about ghosts, hunting and cult theories. Lisa comes in without knocking, Larry who sits in the beanbag just jumps high in the air in shock. Yeah, you can suprise him very easily.

'I just came to tell you that Travis came, and we will be upstairs with David... and Sara- ' She looks a bit annoyed when she named Davids so called wife. I'm pretty much fine with him imagining Sara, who is a mannequin, I just tag along with him. 

I even know how she looks like to him, he tells me sometimes how amazing she is. She has according to him long, black curly hair, hazel eyes and has a beautiful smile.

He even drew her once, I just got a glance. He really loves her, even if she isn't actually real. 

'Earth to Sally!' Larry snips his fingers infront of my Face.

'Eeh?! Sorry, I didn't pay attention!' Larry raises an eyebrow, but didn't ask further. We basically sat there, quiet, thinking 'what now?' 

'Dude, I've got an Idea! Let's take the gear boy and just visit the old farm! I'm sure something is there, something unnatural'

He talks about the old farm, which is near the Wendigo Lake in the forest. It's practically forgotten and the gang found it accidentally. We all kind of forgot it tho, since there was nothing at all. 

But Larry might be right, It's like super old, according to Todd atleast 400 Years. 
We say 'Farm' because we actually have no Idea what it could be, but It looks a bit like one. 
Also, it's more neutral then saying something like 'Hotel' or something to it.

'Yeah, sure. Lemme get the super gear boy and some stuff.' Larry nods and goes over to one of his drawers. I leave and go to the elevator on the 4th floor, Dad is working in his room so I shouldn't bother him.

We walk to the somewhat ruin. Larry looks nervously around himself, as If he expected Police to come and arrest us.
Seems he forgot that Nockfell Police is like... Not existing. Not doing anything.

I take the Gear Boy and walk around the building, Larry right behind me, scared. I could tell by his shivering, it's cold, yes, but Larry can handle temperatures better then you might think. 

Nothing.

I go in the back in, Larry being like real close behind me, I can feel his breath on the back of my Head. 
'someones in here' Larry whisper yells in my ear.

'Yeah, we both are' I joke, walking in the next room. 

'DUDE. stop joking, I mean it! There is someone here.' Larry, now panicking, grabs me and basically pick me up. I can walk myself, thank you.

Like an Object he takes me to a small room, with a pretty hidden door we found before. 
I see that he meant it serious, so I keep my mouth shut. So does he, after he set me on the ground again.

Larry has a panic attack, I hug him. Not knowing what to do. Larry was right, I hear footsteps outside the hidden door. We sit on the ground, silent. 

'Mr Phelps? Yes... Yes at the ruin... No he's not... Hidden? Y..Yes sir I understand!.... No, I searched everywhere, but I'm pretty sure I heard footsteps...' The Female Voice played around with Keys now. 'where is the door?... Yes, sir. ...' The Female is leaving the space before the room, as her voice gets quieter. 

She's definetely talking to Mr Phelps, but It sounded so serious, like what could possible be that intresting in this forgotten place?

My curiosity takes over, I leave Larry, who dozed off somehow, and open the door slightly.
Left.... Right... noone, good. 

I sneak out and close the door, not making a sound. I walk to the direction the Voice went. 
I see a Female, only a bit taller then me. She wears a completly black outfit, has medium long, dirty blonde Hair in a bun. She faced away from me, talking on the phone. 

No matter how hard I try, I don't understand a thing. She basically wispers. She walks to the middle of the room she was in, takes out.... uhh a black powder? and "draws" a perfect circle. 

My Jaw drops, the circle started to glow in a light yellow, she in the middle. Then, she dissapeared in thin air. I wait, but after about 20 Minutes I am sure the female isn't coming back, atleast not yet. 

I go back to the small room, Larry's has a perfect timing on waking up. We don't share a word, I just grab the gear boy and go back to the room. There is no powder left, weird. 

Knew it. The Gear Boy lights up exactly there, where the woman dissapeared. Larry also comes, next to me. Well, it's actually pretty dark. He yawns. I press the button on the side, greenish lightning appears, and dissapears. 

Confused Larry and I look at each other, before the floor starts to quake. Larry falls, shortly before me. Yellow light appeared, and... reveals stairs, marked in a glowing, yellow square. I stand up and walk closer, which made the glow even lighter, until it blends us. I go backwards away. The glow reduces.

Now Larry gets intrests and also steps closer. Surprisingly, the Light lowers, and ends up closing the stairs. We share confused looks, not knowing what just happened. 

Larry takes out his phone, and talks to someone while walking out. He comes back after a few seconds 'It's Todd, he said that he found something intresting, possible even important'

Larry just turned around and leaves me there, ofcourse I walk with him. I ain't gonna stay at this weird place alone at night, no way!

I get a weird feeling... like someone would be watching me... But Larry didn't seem like it, so I ignore it.

'Took you long enough.' Todd is definitely annoyed, he doesn't even look up from his Computer. Larry and I sit on his bed, leaving Todd to calm down. 

'So. I called Larry because I found something in the documents. You know, from the Cult and stuff... and there was an 'article' hidden, like really locked up in the files. It took me now about a week to get it open. There were many pages, written about a child who is seemingly an Enemy from them.' Larry yawned 'And what the hell does this have to do with us?!' Now Larry is the annoyed one.

'Larry, can you even hear yourself right now? ... Like I said, It's an enemy from the cult. They call them "the child of abomination", which comes according to those files from a prophecy.'
Now Larry's intrest is waking up. 

'And, what do you know about them?' Todd fixes his glasses after my question 'Sadly, not much. Just that they have ancestors from the Gray's. They do also have powers and are according to them the person who's gonna stop them.' He sit's down and types something in his PC.

'But, there is one problem. They killed them-' 'Wow Todd, then this information is useless. Thanks for wasting our time.' Larry is pissed now. 

'Let. me. finish.' Larry sits back down. 

'I have the theory that they might survived, there is no prove that they are actually dead, and it's a prophecy from many, many years ago. Also, the prophecy said that the child is half evil and half good, like a mix between both.' Todd says. 

'How are we even gonna find them? We don't even know how they look like!' Larry is jokingly crying. Todd's still being serious. 

'We will, somehow. To be honest, I have an Idea who It might be, but If I tell you, you would think I'd have lost my mind. So... I wait until I actually know who it is.' Larry rolls his eyes and leaves. 

'We have also seen something quite weird.' I tell Todd the story at the ruins, he nods and turns to his Pc. 'This might add on the child.' and then he just sits and types stuff in. I leave too.
