Diovanni sat in his room silently.
For the thousandth time he unlocked his phone and listen to that one voicemail left by the boy he used to call best friend.
He wondered how the boy was doing. Its been 11 months since he left. No contact with Jisung. Maybe it was for the best. But it still felt lonely. You know losing your best friend, it gets lonely sometimes.
No one to laugh with for no reason. Inside jokes. Secrets. Hanging out. Hugging. Just them. Sure Diovanni had other friends but Jisung was his best best friend. Their friend group seemed to have forgotten about Jisung by this point.
Naomi and him were dating now. He was happy with her. She was amazing and he felt joy when he was with her.
Nothing could replace Jisung though. He was Diovanni's true friend.
