Second Person's POV
It was an eventful day.
After getting the necessary treatment from Mia, you spent the rest of the day hanging out and talking with Manjiro. It wasn't as awkward as before. In fact, it had become a little easier for you to communicate with him.
You bonded properly with Manjiro. It was a complete success.
Now standing outside the building, you bowed down to Manjiro. "Thank you for today, Manjiro. It was a lot of fun!" You tugged a genuine sweet smile. He simply stared at you and nodded his head as acknowledgement.
"I should thank you too. The Dorayakis were delicious." Manjiro returned the word of gratitude. You appreciated his words of gratefulness.
You glanced at your watch. It had passed 9.00 p.m.. You hadn't booked a taxi yet as you lost track of time due to spending fulfilling time with Manjiro. You preferred riding a taxi, since being alone with the scary-looking driver (Kakucho's driver) always sparked anxiety in you.
"Ah, about your transportation... They will come to pick you up."
"Huh? Did you..."
"I figured out you wouldn't ask Kakucho's driver or Rai to pick you up. You would head to their house anyway. It is a perfect timing."
"Could they be-"
Your sentence was cut off when you heard car pulling over near you and Manjiro. One door opened, a man with long mullet purple hair got out of the car. His face was written with excitement.
"Yo, (Y/n)!" Rindo greeted you. He was the most excited and happiest when Ran and him were assigned to babysit you. "Rindo!" You gasped his name in surprise. You weren't expecting the Haitanis to pick you up tonight. You thought they might come tomorrow.
You were not fully prepared. You hadn't even packed up your clothes!
Followed behind Rindo, another man with similar purple hair but with neatly slick hairstyle got out of the car. He smiled softly at you.
"Hello, (Y/n). Pleasure to meet you again." Ran greeted. Just like Rindo, he was delighted to be tasked with the duty to look after you.
Rindo locked his arm around your neck and leaned closer to you. "I haven't met you in a while and I miss you, doll face... This is a perfect chance for you and me to get closer. We are gonna have lots of fun, sweetheart."
Your cheeks felt warm. You knew there was a hidden meaning in the word "fun". You averted your eyes shyly. "I'm not into that kind of fun..."
"Huh? What are you talking about? I'm thinking of bringing you to my favourite places and have good time there with you. (Y/n), I didn't know you have such a dirty mind~" Rindo teased, his finger poking your cheek playfully.
