Two days later,
Mia's hospital,
Morning...

Second Person's POV

"NO!"

You shot up on the bed abruptly as your hand reached out for something. Tears were rolling down your cheeks, eyes wide with fear.

"...huh? What was that dream about again?"

Suddenly, you forgot about the thing you were dreaming of. Yet you still could feel the fear lingering in your heart. Deep dark fear that you wished you never knew how it felt.

"...I can't exactly remember the dream..."

' But I remember how it felt... Agonizing, terrifying and traumatizing.'

You gulped down the lump in your throat. Your tears didn't stop trickling down. Even though you didn't remember the details of the nightmare, you couldn't help but tremble in terror.

You wanted company. You wanted emotional support and comfort from someone.

Right on time, the door creaked open revealing a certain Bonten's advisor. Upon closing the door , he turned his attention to you. Words couldn't describe how surprised he was to see you sitting on the bed.

"(Y/n), you are awake- Hey, why are you crying?"

"T-Takeomi..."

You felt huge relief surging through your body. Takeomi walked over to your bed and sat on your bed. "What's wrong? Bad dream?"

You nodded your head, agreeing with his guess. Takeomi stared at you sympathetically. He gently pulled you into a warm embrace. Your sobs became louder as you leaned your head on his broad chest.

"Whatever you saw in your dream, it wasn't real, okay? It was only your mind messing with you. Don't let the dream get over your head."

Takeomi consoled as he stroked your hair comfortingly. You hummed between your sorrowful sobs. He was right. It was simply a bad dream. You shouldn't let it overly bother you.

"...what happened to me? I remember getting shot but then everything just became blurry."

"You were taken to hospital and Mia had to perform surgery to take out the bullet in your shoulder. She said the bullet didn't hit vital point but you did lose lots of blood. Had the ambulance arrived late by a minute or two, you could have died due to major blood loss."

Takeomi clarified calmly. You still didn't want to him to let go of you. His hug was unusually comforting. Maybe because he was used to providing such hugs to his little sister, Senju, especially.

"What about the girls? Please tell me they are both saved.."

"Your quick action to contact the ambulance saved that injured lady's life. She was admitted here as well. Fortunately, her friend was unscathed."
