Second Person's POV
You fished your hand in Shuji's pocket, trying to find his phone to contact Mia but it couldn't be found. "S-Shuji...where is your phone...?"
"I might...have dropped it while running earlier..."
"Sh*t...!!"
You were getting more anxious. His chest was heaving up and down ceaselessly. Shuji was barely clinging to life. You gently rested his head on your lap. He smiled weakly at you and reached out his hand to your face.
Tears endlessly fell from your eyes when you felt his hand cupping your cheek. If you couldn't make it in time to call for help, then you preferred spending his last moments as long as you could.
"I honestly don't regret dying for you... I fulfilled our promise after all..Our promise to meet again. At least I can die happy knowing that you are living...a better life.."

You looked at him with teary eyes. Noticing Shuji's bloody clothes, Kakucho wasted no moment and went to assist him. "Mia has dispatched an ambulance before we even come here. The paramedic will be here soon."
Kakucho assured. You nodded your head, appreciating his efforts. You smiled softly at Shuji. "Hang in there, okay, Shuji? Don't you dare leave me!" You sternly exclaimed. He chuckled awkwardly.
