Second Person's POV
It had been thirty minutes since you arrived at the headquarter. You had been indulging yourself in eating biscuits that Takeomi bought for you while spacing out. The executives were patiently waiting for you to speak up.
Little did they know, you actually forgot they were there with you. As you were lost in your own world.
When your hand couldn't find any biscuit in the packet, you looked inside only to discover it was already empty. You lifted up your head and shifted your attention to Kakucho, who was sitting next to you.
"How long have you sit there, Kakucho?" You asked.
Everyone choked on the air. Did you just forgot their existence this entire time?!
"As long as you have been munching on your biscuits, (Y/n).."
"Oh..."
You simply hummed and stared at the biscuit packet again. You scrunched it before voicing out your question,
"...I don't have a child, right?"
Kakucho's heart raced rapidly upon hearing your question though his face remained calm. Rindo, Ran, Haruchiyo, Takeomi, Manjiro and Hajime looked at each other.
"Kakucho is the right person who could answer you... After all, he met you even before you join Bonten." Manjiro shifted his attention to his Number 3 executive.
Kakucho was a bit hesitant to talk about this. He darted his irises to you, silently observing you. He placed a hand on top of your head whilst smiling reassuringly. You looked at your friend.
"You didn't have a child, (Y/n)... I guess that traitor was informed with wrong information about you. The thing we should be concerned of right now is this Kisaki guy who is after you."
Kakucho's reassurance was believable. The worry was washed away and your heart filled with warmth. Of course you can believe in him. He was the only person who knew you better than everyone else.
"Yeah... I guess we have to focus on Kisaki. He was the same guy who chased after me before. That stranger who knew my name." You explained.
Takeomi added more, "Ah, that guy. Rai did tell me a few things about him. So his name is Kisaki... I will do in-depth background check on him later."
"Sound familiar, doesn't it? That name." Haruchiyo exclaimed which caused the executives to realize something intriguing.
"....the same last name as that guy who manipulated and murdered Izana 12 years ago..." Kakucho's voice darkened with animosity. Recalling that name never ceased to piss him off. He despised Tetta with all his heart for being the cause of his King's death.
