Chapter 16: Ivy

If you could describe the atmosphere in the house after the arrival of Poppy and Lily, it would be awkward. They didn't really interact with anyone even their mates. This was much to the disappointment of Jungkook and Jimin. You knew they were chomping at the bit to get to know them. You also knew that them being the most affectionate of the boys, it was killing them to not be able to express that.

Rose decided to arrange a meeting of all the women of the house. You were all sitting on the back porch. Poppy sitting with Lily behind her. Daisy who's belly was growing more and more each day sat next Sage rubbing her belly. You were on Daisy's other side. Willow on Sage's other side. Rose stood before you.

"Thank you all for coming." Rose said.

Everyone nodded.

"Could you tell us a little about yourself? We don't know a lot about you. You both seem uncomfortable here." Rose said looking at the two newer women.

"We aren't uncomfortable. In fact we are very comfortable." Poppy said looking at Lily shocked.

"What?" You asked bewildered.

You genuinely hadn't expected that answer. You looked at Daisy who was equally as baffled.

"You seem like you don't want anything to do with your mates or us. You just come to meals and sit with us for a little while then return to your room." Daisy said.

"We do?" Poppy asked looking at Lily again.

"I suppose it has been a while since we have been around people." Lily said rubbing her neck.

"I guess you're right. We tend to be very private people. My powers tend to draw unwanted attention. So we keep a low profile. That does put us at a disadvantage socially." Poppy said blushing slightly.

"Of course! I suppose you would have to do such things to protect yourselves. We won't hurt you or make you do anything you don't want to. Your mates especially won't. They just want to be close to you and give you the love you deserve." Rose explained kindly.

"Oh. They do?" Poppy asked eyes wide.

"Yes, that's why Jimin constantly sits near you and tired to give you whatever you want. He wants to dote on you." Willow said leaning back into the chair she was sitting in.

"Oh." Poppy said looking pensive.

"Jungkook asks you to play with him and Misha because he wants to get to know you better. He wants you to see how good he is with pups." You said to Lily.

"Oh... I... What do we do?" Lily asked blush creeping up her face as well.

"Let them love you. Let them get to know you. Get to know them. They are difficult to resist once you do. Jimin is a flirt but he has a heart of gold. Jungkook's a goof but he'd give his life for those he loves." Sage explain gently.

"Oh..." Lily and Poppy said in unison.

"All right. Are we good?" Willow asked Rose.

"Yes." Rose said dismissing everyone.

She seemed extremely pleased with herself.

You'd put Misha to bed for the night. Felix had made pallet on the floor next to his bed. You patted the young man's head gently. He hummed in his sleep. Han was guarding the door to his room. You placed a gentle hand on his shoulder in thanks. He nodded and smiled softly.

Tae was watching you. You could feel his gaze. You flicked yours to his. His eyes were hard and filled with a heat of some kind. You arched a brow in confusion. His gaze flicked to Han and your hand on his shoulder. You slowly removed your hand.

"Good night, Hannie." You said smiling at him.

"Good night, Ivy." He said bowing slightly.

You walked past Tae, ignoring him. He let out a growl in Han's direction. You felt him stalking behind you. You went to your room and shut the door behind you, directly in Tae's face. He let out a grunt. He opened the door slowly his gaze confused.

"What was that for?" He asked rubbing his forehead.

"You were being ridiculous back there and you know it. Han has never done anything inappropriate to me. He is a gentleman. He's kind and sweet. He's protecting OUR son." You said sternly.

"It doesn't seem to matter to my wolf. I don't care that he hasn't... wait what did you say?" He said his eyes going soft.

"Which part?" You asked rolling your eyes.

"Did you say our son?" He said his voice a whisper.

"I... yes... Yes I did..." You said swallowing thickly.

"You think of Misha as ours? Not just yours?" He asked approaching you slowly.

"Don't you?" You asked carefully.

"Yes." He said as he was inches from you now.

You could feel his breath on your lips. You cupped his face gently. You rubbed your thumb across his beautiful face.

"You silly jealous wolf.... Don't you know? I am yours mind..." you leaned up and kissed his nose.

"Spirit." You kissed his chest where his heart would be.

"And body." You dropped to your knees and you looked up at him with big doe eyes.

"Ivy..." he warned.

Your hands went to the waist band of his jeans and unbuttoned it. You pulled them and his boxers down to his ankles. His cock sprang forward right in front of your face. You looked at it and then up at his face.

You sighed. You wished with all your heart that this moment would never end. You wish you could stay this happy and at peace forever. Unfortunately the storm that was slowly approaching your sunny life was growing closer and closer. You just hoped you all survived it.
