Chapter 18: Ivy

You were awoken by the ringing of a phone. You sat up and looked over at your phone screaming at you. You glared at it and then saw the caller ID. Your brother was calling.

"Hey what's up?" You asked sleepily.

"Ivy! Thank God! Are you and Misha safe?" He asked breathless.

"Yes... You sound out of breath what's wrong?" You asked worriedly.

Tae sat straight up in bed and looked at you. You knew the worry in your tone had woken him. You placed a hand on his thigh. He grabbed it and squeezed. He brought it to his lips and kissed it softly.

"Malcolm is here. He's in town. He's not playing games anymore. Ivy, he and his gang trashed the library. He was waiting for me. He told me..." he trailed off.

"What? Tell me." You said your heart racing.

You squeezed Tae's hand.

"He told me to tell you to come home or he'd kill me." He said softly.

You sat there in stunned silence. Tae took the phone from your hand.

"Hey its me. Yeah go into hiding. Yep. I got her and Misha. Nothing will happen to them. I'll die first." Tae promised.

You snapped your gaze to look at him.

"Yeah be safe. Let me know when you are hidden." Tae said and hung up the phone.

You just stared at him. He was dressing quickly. You felt anger rise in you. You didn't know if it was just the situation or the words Tae had just used, but you were furious. You sat there on the bed arms folded. He finally saw that you were glaring at him.

"Flower?" He asked confused.

"What the fuck was that?" You demanded.

Tae looked like you'd decked him. You didn't really curse. His eyes wide and mouth hanging open. It would've been comical if he hadn't just pissed you off.

"I don't follow?" He said tentatively.

"You'd die first? You really think you dying and leaving Misha and I is what we need. Losing you... losing you would end me." You said tears falling from your eyes.

Tae's face softened and he knelt between your legs. He looked up at you with such adoration that you thought your heart would break.

"Flower, I just meant I would die before I saw you or Misha hurt. I would never leave you both of my own volition. Your brother was scared and need the reassurance that I would protect you. My flower, I love you. I am not going anywhere." Tae said soothingly rubbing your thighs with his slender hands.

You sighed deeply choking back the tears that still threatened to fall. You wrapped yourself up in him. He held you tightly. You sat that way for awhile. A knock came at the door shattering your moment of piece.

Tae set you on the bed. He went to the door to find Rose standing at it.

"Namjoon needs to talk to you." She said seriously.

"All right." He said.

You began dressing and he grabbed you. He kissed you deeply. You let out an involuntary moan. He chuckled.

"Go with Rose, flower. Misha is with SKZ." He said resting his forehead against yours.

He left with your heart with him.

You and Rose met Daisy on your way to Sage's room. They'd both received threats and warnings this morning. You soon entered the room. Judging by the atmosphere you were not the only ones with bad news.
