"Everything for you..."

"It was bad until you came"

We decided on making two separate dishes for each other . He was going to make one for me and I was going to make one for him .
We both were chopping onions and I knew what he was going to make for me , I think so did he .
"What are you making ? " I leaned towards him and touched his hair .
He smirked and pulled me close to him with his hand across my waist " You know what I am making , and that's exactly why you're asking me because you already know the answer."

I could feel my heart beating so fast. I stopped breathing because he was so close to me .
I pulled away ," No , I don't " I went close to him again and whispered in his ears , "tell me, Naitya. I am absolutely clueless."
He was stunned , it was the first time that I made a move like that , I don't know what came over me . He looked at me and winked , " Wait until I finish making this and then I will tell you everything I want too ." Oh no this is bad . I backed off . I knew I am never going to win against him.
I made him his favourite red beans and rice with curd and placed it on the table .
I saw him walking towards me while I was sitting waiting for him to finish making the dish for me.
" White sauce pasta and masala soda ." He said as He placed it on the table .
I knew it , "Oh my god , I had no clue that this is what you were making ."
"Of course how will you , you were staring at me the whole time ." He laughed .
I punched his back lightly . We started eating while he told me that he had 45 patients to attend and how amazingly he handled each one of them . I have always been proud of him and him being so passionate about his job makes me like him more and more . You know, there is something about passionate people which draws you towards them.
He noticed that I was completely lost .
" So how was your day? "
"It was bad until you came ." I winked .
He stopped eating , " Ankita , Don't "
I looked at him , he was looking straight at me " what? I am just saying ..."
" I want to kiss you right now." He was filled with love . I could see it in his eyes
I pulled back my chair and took his plate and mine as well without saying anything . I was flustered and I didn't wanted him to see that .
" Just kidding !!! " he laughed .
I knew it , he was kidding . For a second , I thought he was going to kiss me , that, he was being serious.
He came to the kitchen and did the dishes while I was standing there .
"Look at your face, all red !!! " he said seeing how red I was .
"What do you expect then ? I am only a human." I kicked him in his butt .
I am happy that we not only have a relationship but also friendship . He makes me the happiest I have been in a while . Makes me believe that relationships are not based on just one thing , they are combinations of all the small things you do for the other person and also the things that they can do themselves, because doing the things they can't is obvious . But doing the things they can do , that makes it more special.
