After sending Naitya forcefully to his work I came back inside . My mother was sitting alone , waiting for me. I came towards her and sat beside her , hugging her from the side because I had missed her so much. She squeezed me and I could feel that she was happy that I came to meet her.
"Mum?" I asked .
She hummed .
"Do you still have my journals?" I looked at her.
She looked at me with a strange look like she didn't like my question .
"Yes , I have them saved because I know how much you like to keep things saved in your writings."
"I want them , can you give them to me ?" I held her hand.
"Yes , let me find them for you." She smiled.
I am glad that she had my journals with her because if she didn't it would have been very difficult for me.
I stood up and went inside the kitchen .
"Please find them , by that time I'll make something for both of us."
She didn't say anything , I came out and saw she was not there anymore . I knew she had gone to look for it . She's the sweetest . Always there when I need her.
Naitya resembles her in this quality . Being considerate. And kind .
Kindness has always been that one quality that draws me to a person.

An hour passed since then . I made some South Indian Cuisine for mum . Cause she loves it . I went back inside and thought that she might have come back . But she was not there . I crossed the living area and went to the stairs . Climbed up the stairs and saw that the door of my room , in which I used to sleep was open . She definitely must have kept my journals inside the drawer . My secret drawer. As kids we always used to have a secret drawer right?  My phone vibrated. There was 3 notifications .It was Naitya.

Can I have lunch with you guys ?You have to tolerate me . Please .
Okay I am taking it as a yes. On my way .
Already missing you.

I smiled at his texts and kept my phone inside my pocket after replying .

I never said yes.

Immediately a notification popped up .

You never said no.

I smiled again.

Don't text me while you are driving !

Okay boss . See you .

I kept my phone in my pocket again . Went to the room and I could see my mother reading my journals.
One thing I hate the most is someone invading my privacy and my mother knows that .Privacy is the simplest thing a person wants in any relationship . We used to have so many arguments about it when I was a teenager.

I came to her , she was sitting down and reading the journal which was written by me exactly the day before the accident happened.

I started trembling , shaking ...
"Mum?" I whispered . Expecting her to not have read that part .
She looked at me like I was the worst thing that ever happened to her . She was crying . Her eyes were red.
"Don't tell me you did this?" She asked .
I could feel , she was not expecting this from me . But yes nobody would have . Things just turned like that .
"Mum I can explain." I whispered her.
"ANKITA!!" She screamed .
I did it for Naitya . It was for him . For us.
"Did you do this ?" She asked again , expecting a no from me.
I didn't know what to say . I was numb.
"Please tell me you didn't ! Please ! I can never call you my daughter again ."
I nodded.
But I did it for my Naitya . For myself . For us .
