Unrequited Love ♡ (Completed)

Xingqiu's POV :

winter is coming up and soon there would be a winter break, a month of keeping Chongyun to myself. no more hanging out with that friend of his! I stormed out of my room in frustration.

"Master Xingqiu, are you alright?" one of my dads' assistants asked, "OH- no no no no no, it was nothing, I didn't get a decent grade on one of my papers today! that's all haha!" I laughed off the question given to me "I wish my son is more like you.. he doesn't focus on his grades at all, so inefficient." she shook her head gently and then looked at me, I froze for a second and continued with "he'll come to his senses eventually, see ya" I ran out the door when I got the chance.

 I walked past one of the street vendors and decided that I'll get a monstadlt grilled fish for breakfast, a simple yet fulfilling breakfast

I woke up quite early today, so walking to school won't be a problem! I stopped by Chongyun's house that's across the street from where I'm at and stopped, my body froze for a second something is telling me I should go wake him up so I can walk to school with him, but at the same time I don't want to, I gave up completely. 

I waited to give me some time to think and I decided to go wake him up

Narrator's POV: 

Xingqiu walked across the street arriving on Chongyun's doorstep, He looked around for any signs of his boyfriend being awake or not "my dearest Chongyun... what did I do to make it all go downhill? Was I not good enough or is it just not meant to be? What happened to "us"?" Xingqiu sighed and placed his hand on the door handle, he tried opening it but "it's locked? Is no one awake already? But it's already 5:58 AM!" he puts away his phone after 6 missed calls he left for Chongyun "he turned on his do not disturb again, typical Chongyun..." Xingqiu shook his head and then remembered something...

"The balcony! Chongyun never locks the window to his room he says it's too hot for him" Xingqiu giggled to himself and attempted to climb up the wooden crates next to his house, that he successfully climbed, Xingqiu walked his way over to Chongyun's window and started lifting the window frame so he can fit half his body through it

"Chongyun~ Wake up idiot, let's walk to school together!" Xingqiu whisper-Shouted (?) Chongyun's body shifts a bit but he's still not awake, a few seconds later he pulled out some jueyun Chilies from his bag that is supposed to be used as a science project and says "Chongyun wake up or else this is what you'll be eating instead of a popsicle." Chongyun  immediately stood up not wanting to eat a juyeun chilli, Chongyun took a deep breath and continued "first of all, why are you in my window. Second of all, why do you  conveniently have a juyeun chilli with you?!" Xingqiu grinned knowing damn well it's gonna work "no more questions yun~ go get ready and we can go to school together" 

Chongyun rolled his eyes at Xingqiu and went to go get ready, meanwhile, Xingqiu crawled out of the window into Chongyun's bedroom and suddenly a THUD was heard "XINGQIU?!" Chongyun ran out from his bathroom to see Xingqiu on the floor laughing nervously "ugh Xingqiu. You seriously need to be careful" Chongyun scolded his partner while helping him get up "okay okay Chongyun, you said that so many times before" Xingqiu turns his head away "but do you ever listen ?" Chongyun questioned. "No..." in response Chongyun said "exactly. I'll go get ready now, you stay here, no more shenanigans." And just like that Chongyun left to go get ready.
