~Part I~

I stretched my hands over my head, made a lazy yawn, and turn to the left side of my desk as I sigh with the pile of files filled up again.

Monday.

As usual, Monday blue the boring and busiest day of the week. Sucker.

Still, I was able to get my ass up from my comfy bed and work for my pay's sake.

Well, Life.

If no money? Then I'll have no food, no bed, no shelter, and get stranded.

Everything is given and taken. I should be grateful I have a job for life. Yea, even though Monday is a sucker, but I still have my TGIF, right?

I was startled a little when my phone rang sharply which cut off the train of my thoughts. Ughh! I should stop thinking and get that pile of files to be done.

"Good morning, administrative department speaking." I greeted with a friendly tone.

"Good morning,"

I hummed in curious because the voice was new for me. But, it was so nice.

Who is it?

"May I speak to Robyn, please?"

Gosh, her voice...

I cleared my throat and said, "Yes, speaking. May I know who's on the line please?"

"I'm sorry, my bad. I'm Abigail, an accountant from the accounting department. I'm new in this place today."

"Don't be, Abigail. That's right, our ex-accountant's final day service was on last Friday. Can I help you?"

"Yes, Robyn. I have prepared a file. Can you send it to Mr. Colin for me, please? I'll email the detail to you. If that's not bothering you."

How could someone assigning a job to me be so polite?

"Nah, not at all. That's part of my job."

"That's nice of you. I appreciate it, I could hear she say with a smile.

"It's my pleasure. Do you have anything want me to help?"

"No, not at the moment after this. Thank you so much, Robyn. You're nice."

I couldn't help, but I smiled at her lovely voice. She must be a pretty girl by the voice of hers which was gentle and cute. Especially when she said my name. I like the way she said it.

"You're nice too. Anyway, if anything related to my job you can call me or email to me anytime. I'll do it accordingly."

I prefer you call me instead. That's for sure.

"Sure, sure. Will do. Thanks, Robyn, really."

"I think we should cut off the politeness. I'm worried I might receive too many thank you notes from you. But, I don't mind." I chuckled as she joined and chuckled.

Holy shit! How could be someone's laughter so melodic?

"I'm sorry. I gotta go for a meeting."

"Good luck, Abigail. See ya."

"See ya."

We ended the call and soon I saw an email pop on my desktop's screen. I clicked into the email to read and that was from her. I smiled after I read the signature of the email with her full name.

Abigail Gonzalez.

Such a beautiful name. I was wondering what she looks like.

Fine. I should take back my word about Monday is a sucker. Today the Monday was an exception. I swear it was a great starter of the week!
