Abigail seemed a little off the last few days. Even though she would smile or chat with me as usual, but I could tell she had something in her mind. She looks depressed and I was quite worried about her.

I wanted to ask her, but I thought that was not a good idea to do so. If only she was ready to share with someone she was comfortable with. Yes, we were getting close, but I still couldn't be busybody her personal life.

We also cut down our break time seemed she started busy and rushing her works. Also, our lunchtime cut short too. She had to back to work after she had finished her lunch.

Don't get me wrong. Even though this happened only close to a week, she seemed like lose her weight. Perhaps she also cut down the portion of her meal. She only took one or two bites and so-called she already finished her meal.

I had asked her to eat more, but she told me she had no appetite because her mind full of her work. Deep down, I was thinking she might have something kept in her mind and she didn't open up yet.

"Abigail," I called as her face was emotionless.

"Abigail," I called louder as she remained the same.

"Abigail, hey," I gently used a hand to nudge her shoulder and she finally look at me. My heart was tightened when I saw her face was pale, with puffy eyes and her eyes bag was darker.

"Hey," She gave me a small smile which I could tell she was trying hard for it. I held her hand to stop her continue pressing the print button and I said to her softly, "You already printed the same page more than 30 copies, Abigail."

She seemed finally snapped back by my call out as she sighed and cursed under her breath, "Shit."

"You need a break, Abigail," I said and held her hand, took the papers from the photocopier, and threw them into the recycle box. I was ready to take her to our usual places without waiting for her response. She just let me take her away from the printing room.

This time we were standing at the corner of the ceiling to floor window to watch the busy city in Heaven. This corner had more privacy and can let people have a break. I was thinking this was a better idea for letting Abigail stay for peace in her mind.

"Can you talk, please? I'm not used to it when you're quiet," Abigail said with her slightly cracked voice, but still lovely for me. Of course, I prefer her usual voice because that was her happy tone.

"I thought you prefer to be quiet at the moment," I said.

"I don't need to be quiet. At least I feel so much better after I hear your voice," She turned to me and gave me a small smile as she back to the view again.

"You should tell me in the first place. I was damn boring last few days you know," I tried to lighten up the mood.

She finally chuckled, "Me too, I miss talking with you."

"You only miss talking with me, but don't miss me," I said and pretended slightly hurt.

She bumped my shoulder and said with a smile, "Who said I don't miss you?"

"If you miss me, we won't be bored for the last few days," I teased.

I took a fruit candy from my pocket and handed it to her as she thanked me and unwrapped the candy and started eating. Her face scrunched up and said, "Oh! It's lemon taste and it's so sour!"

I couldn't help but laugh at her adorable face, "It is. But it tastes good after a while."

She pursed her lips at me and complaint, "You should warn me before I eat."
