"Go get me a macchiato, and get you guys pizzas." Roderick laughed with his deep voice as he folded his arms behind the back of his head and leaned against his huge chair.

He was having a great mood. I saw there have 500 bucks on the table. I took 300 hundred bucks and left the remaining on the table.

He arched one of his eyebrows at me as I explained, "I'll spend the remaining 200 bucks from your tips."

He hummed and asked, "Since when did you keep this. That's a lot. Was I that generous to you?"

Of course, you roasted me close to a month since the last three months.

I made a huge smile and said, "Of course you are. You've given much love to us." I indicate the money on this table and said, "That made sense the accumulated tips are a lot from you."

He laughed and said, "Ah, thanks for appreciating my love to you all. Such a thoughtful bunch of kids."

He was silent for a while and said, "You're great at managing the funds. Have you ever thought of working in the finance department?"

I scrunched my face as I waved my hand and said, "Finance it's a huge no in my head. I'm not as patience and careful as the members of the finance team."

"I like your perspective. You will know how far you go." he smiled impressively and added, "But, never underestimate yourself. I know you're an intelligent and hardworking employee. I could see you never stop or slow down your pace in this job."

"As you see, your department turnover is high too. Besides, Bruce and you are the longest staff in here."

"I appreciate your compliment, Mr. King," I said truly.

He waved me off and asked, "What do you think about Abigail?"

I hummed, "About her personality, she's excellent, but is about her working skill I can't give you my personal comment about that. Because her profession and qualification are higher than mine."

He made a whistled and said, "How smooth for answering the questions. I bet the clients will easily get convinced by you with your wise words."

"Speaking of communication and sales skills, I still need to learn so much from you and the marketing team," I said.

Well, I should stop my stupid mouth. If not I can't get out of this room. I still have a pile of jobs to catch up on.

"Abigail not bad in her job. She considers fast learning compare to the ex accountants. She was only in here a month, but she already well-known her task. I'm thinking to give her an increment."

I couldn't help, but I was grinning when I heard Roderick was giving a compliment about Abigail. Of course the last line I wish he meant it. Because Abigail deserves that. But, I knew that was not a good idea to know more about that.

"Umm... That's P&C, Mr. King," I reminded.

He chuckled, "Really? I thought she and you are girlfriend and girlfriend?"

I choked with my spit as I quickly covered my mouth with my hands and turned aside cough.

I felt a hand softly pat my back and followed by a paper cup of water in front of me as I quickly took the water and thanked Roderick.

He walked back to his seat and sat. He chuckled, "I'm not blind, Robyn. I can know who and who are couples. But, I'm glad. At least they are all happy together. Some of them get married and some of them become parents."

"Should I organize a blind date event once a year for the employees for finding their true love?" he said and seemed excited about it.

I chuckled, "That's better for them to find themselves. Look at Nelson and Kelly."
