"Shadow?"

The only response that he gave to Amy is an uninterested, "Hmph."
Silver looked confused, but also a bit out of breath from climbing the steep hill.
"What are you doing here?" Amy had finally let go of Mephiles' hand, who felt relieved.

The ebony hedgehog sighed, and in a deep voice, "Just the same as you. Staring at this scenery of our past memories..." He kept his arms crossed. His peace became interrupted by two pests and his shadow of a brother.

Amy smirked a bit, "Hm, I see why. Just couldn't help but feel the past's worn-out embrace." She approached next to Shadow, who flinched a bit but not noticeably.

Mephiles helped Silver reach the others, "Do you have asthma, Silver?"

"How did you know my name and my condition!?" Silver was ready to defend himself from this man.

"Well, Amy mentioned it and you look like the type to have trouble breathing when doing physical activities." He didn't stutter one bit.

Silver's eye twitched, "Pfft- as if..." He stomped away from Mephiles and stood near the tree.
Meanwhile Mephiles just went beside Amy, just to breath in the cold air. Catching glimpses of everything. The long swaying grass, falling of leaves and ones dying below. And the park that looked really small as they overseen everything. The sky barely has any sunlight but offered the soft crystals of frozen rain.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Blurted Amy. Who was trying to start up a conversation.

Both Mephiles and Shadow nodded, which wasn't a good start. Actually, it made things seem kinda dry.

Amy glanced at the two, who looked sort of alike, with their quills and physiques. But they're both entirely different.

She yawned, almost feeling sleepy.

Shadow noticed this and had to comment, "Already tired? You just got here."

"Awe, don't blame me! This atmosphere just brings me to sleep." She then sighed, "Afterall, like I said, 'isn't it beautiful?'" Amy buttoned up her coat, now shivering. But enjoying every minute of it.

Shadow then turned his head away and mumbled, "Not as beautiful as you..." He whispered only to himself, and definitely not towards the girl next to him.

Twinkle Park: Childhood

Shadow ran up the hill, awaiting Amy's arrival. You see, he had given a secret love letter to her. He felt really scared of being rejected, but he also couldn't stand the sight of her chasing after Sonic anymore. Shadow wanted Amy to chase after him for once.

A little while later, he hears the breathless sounds of a cute girl. "Sonic, I can't believe it! You finally accepted my love and-" Amy's tone of voice then dropped when she glanced up and saw Shadow standing there, facing away from her and only staring down at the park. "Shadow? What are you doing up here?" She walked up beside him; he was crossing his arms. The young, ebony hedgehog didn't want to embarrass himself and had to play it cool infront of the girl he likes.

"J-Just the same as you... Staring at this scenery of our new memories." Shadow stuttered a bit but trying to impress her by being poetic.

Amy didn't understand, but grinned and clasped her hands together, "Yeah, I suppose it's beautiful. But why are you up here instead of Sonic?" She then pulled out a handwritten letter gently, "I thought this was from him, I mean- it had to be!" She lifted the note up and showed it to Shadow.

Alright Shadow, you can do this. You're the coolest. This isn't a huge deal or anything.
