"Your response has been accepted, please present yourself at the entrance of the door." The installed auto voice cited as Sunwoo stood in the doorway for the final recognition. I stood trailed behind him. "Face recognition verified, welcome back, Sunwoo." The feminine voice cited once again. The doors revealed the laboratory to us, clouds of white cotton colored smoke radiated from beneath the doorway. Sunwoo walked ahead of me, inclining down warily as he clutched his pipe harder, as he seemed to take note of the unorganized objects and belongings which seemed out of place. What happened?" I whispered, my eyes averting all over the place in fear. I followed his actions. "We're not alone." He whispered back in an intimidating tone.
Abruptly after, a clawed droid broke through the shelves, splattering splinters as it struggled to fit itself inside of the hole it created, immediately, Sunwoo and I began aiming our melees, swinging them. Emotions of panic and aggression collided, along the clanging our weapons created. A few dents were imprinted on its head but that was not enough damage for it to disable. "Move!" Sunwoo yelled, I knitted my eyebrows, not understanding. Sunwoo instantaneously enveloped my body in his arms, throwing the both of us sideway. The side of my body ached badly at the impact, I couldn't imagine the pain Sunwoo experienced holding the weight of my body. The droid pierced its huge claw right where I previously stood, the polished floor began scattering across the laboratory. Sunwoo helped me up, I threw my bar at its eye fiercely, a frightened expression was displayed on my face. My weapon pierced its eye, damaging it. "Go to the entrance! I'm right behind you." Sunwoo yelled, I nodded hurriedly. The droid bursted through the wall at last, presenting its huge structure internal of the laboratory, Sunwoo began climbing up its back, its claws began piercing the sides of its body as it tried clutching Sunwoo. Sunwoo, began loosing grip, groaning as his body continuously blasted with the metallic structure with every sway. At that time, I came in with a bucket of water, splashing it on the head of the droid. "Get off!" I yelled, shielding myself as the droid began twitching, the water had leaked into the hole my melee imprinted. Sunwoo hopped off, running over to me and shielding me. At last, the droid bumped to the floor forcefully with a huge thud. Sunwoo and I began breathing heavily, our gazes averting to each other before beaming in exhaustion.
"Unable to restore file 2000." The destroyed droid chanted, sparks appearing on its exposed wires. Its voice was laced with lag, Sunwoo and I got up, composing ourselves. "Wasn't that the digit your father had written on the note?" I asked, viewing as the droid disabled itself. "The main laboratory, in the city's core. It came from there." Sunwoo stated breathlessly, gazing at the ruins surrounding us. He seemed to know something I didn't, in fact, it seemed like a sudden realization hit him. "We should leave this place soon, it might have alarmed other droids." I suggested, Sunwoo agreed with a nod. "My body is stinging." He averted his gaze, seeming upset as his body began processing the potential bruises. "Are you alright?" I asked, placing my hand on his back as he bent to an extent. "Yeah I'm alright, my ribs hurt a little bit. I'll be fine, I just need a night of rest." Sunwoo cited in exhaustion. "The cinema nearby should be empty, right?" I asked, he motioned his head in agreement. "Should be."
