The cafeteria was pervaded with incessant chatter since it was now flowing with beings with dinner time announcement. Sangyeon announced his presence by seating himself abreast of me and Sunwoo on the table, which was filled with various pastries. "I figured we did not talk properly before, so I came here to get to know the both of you." Sangyeon leaned his elbow on the blue table, supporting his head with his hand. I nodded at his statement, swallowing before speaking. "What did you do before this, Sangyeon?" I asked Sangyeon attentively, unlike Sunwoo whom was engrossed in eating. "Well.." he paused, his eyes going astray. "Let's say I was still involved with cooking." He answered with a smile, his eyes formed a crescent with the action. "A chef?" I asked further, Sangyeon swiped his tongue along his lip. "Closer, the guy that ordered them around." He implaced his hands on the table. I hummed at his statement. "What was your occupation before this, Y/n?" He repeated my question. I gesticulated with both of my hands at myself. "University student." Following that, I indicated with both of my hands at Sunwoo. "University student but delinquent wannabe." I answered Sangyeon's future question, he let out a titter at what I said. Sunwoo on the other hand, side eyed me for almost a minute whilst I chuckled. "You're talking with him but not me?" Eric said while sulking, placing his tray on the blue table with an upset expression. "I didn't even see you around." I replied back, Eric shook his head. "That's because you're too busy laughing with him." He glared at me, beaming right after. "What about him, I didn't even hear a giggle." Eric whispered loudly in Sangyeon's ear, Sunwoo put down his food, looking at the both of them with an obvious sarcastic smile. "Sunwoo? Did you take your anti depressants?" I asked, hinting at a joking manner. Sunwoo's grin shrunk into a mild smile. "I just have a headache, that's it." He spoke at last. "You should go to sleep once you're done." Sangyeon advised, Sunwoo moved his head in agreement. "In fact, I'm done." Sunwoo got up, abandoning the table without a word. The three of us grimaced at him, as he was acting quite peculiar. "I was about to ask if he had friends before this." Eric muttered, Sangyeon turned his gaze so quickly at what he said.
"You've survived an explosion?!" Eric exclaimed exceedingly loud, the whole cafeteria aiming their vision at us. "Eric, lower your voice." Sangyeon whispered, not liking the tension he created. "Eric, calm down, it wasn't that big anyway.." I whispered with a slight frown on my face. "Sorry.. but what else?" He asked, this time lowering his voice. "I obtained a memory card from an old droid model before, it mentioned something about mothers and such. Sunwoo and I projected the main laboratory's location on it once, it had audio files but the projector we used didn't support them." I explained thoroughly, Sangyeon listened attentively, Eric was only wide eyed. "Do you still have the memory card?" Sangyeon asked. I hummed. "Yes, It's-" I was cut off by Eric handing out his MP3 player. "Can you please upload it here?" He begged using his gaze, I batted my eyelashes twice. "Eric, don't be so rude." Sangyeon scolded, seeing how I was taken aback. "Of course? I can give it to you later on tonight." I suggested, Eric nodded exaggeratedly.
By tonight, everyone was returning back to their chambers for rest, awaiting work from tomorrow. I had returned back to Sunwoo's and I shared room, after hanging out with Eric and Sangyeon, Juyeon was dragged with us by the latter.
I opened the oaken drawer, fiddling with what's inside audibly until I had obtained the memory card. A sigh of relief was blown out of my mouth, yet I jolted with a yelp the moment Sunwoo clutched my wrist. "What are you doing?" He asked, not an ounce of happiness on his face. His hair was damp and a huge portion of his skin was exposed, concluding the fact he had just left the shower. "I wanted to upload the audio files on Eric's MP3 player, startling me like that was not necessary." I stated sternly, he loosened his grip, to which I snatched my wrist away. "I'm sorry." He muttered with remorse, a feather weighted kiss was implanted on my cheek. I pressed my lips against eachother for a few seconds, engulfing Sunwoo in a hug, to which he returned almost immediately. "Why are you so upset, Sunwoo?" I asked with a mumble, his body grew stiff. "Ever since I had seen the map of the laboratory and I've been thinking about how to get there, and whether or not to involve the others." He confessed at last, while I was still in his embrace. My head parted ways with his chest, I stared at him, with nothing but sympathy. "Tell the others, they'll help. I'm sure they'll want for this to end as well." I suggested, his vision went astray to the side. "I don't want anyone to get harmed." He continued, his voice had a hint of anxiety. "All of them had survived this far, maybe even went through worse than what we went. What makes you think they won't be able to handle this as a group?" I reassured Sunwoo, he provided no answer. "Plus, I've been standing here with you since the beginning. I'll help too." I added, he shifted his vision at me. His eyes were locked with mine, a gaze of gratitude was provided to me. He pressed his lips against my forehead for seconds, leaving a kiss. "I'll suggest it to AX then." He let go of me, I was content with his confidence.
