Confusion

Chapter Eight

Skylar's P.O.V.

I feel the pain once I get inside the house.

I feel it in my legs at first, but then it moves up to my thighs. I just push it off telling myself its from running all the way here in my human form without stretching. But I know better.

Being with Caleb naked like that felt so right, but I couldn't do that to Jake. I'm not sure what it right or what is wrong right now. I don't know if I should ignore the pain that I feel for Jake or if I should go and run away with him. I try to walk up the stairs but I know its not going to work without hurting myself.

I start to cry as I make it half way up the stairs but then I find myself with warm hands on my naked hips helping me up the stairs. Then I realise I am being carried up the stairs. I am set softly down on the bed and I can breath again. I pry my eyes open and there Caleb is naked as well sitting on my bed. "You alright?" he asks and I close my eyes once again. "Why can't you just leave me alone?" I whimper not wanting this to be real, just a dream.

"Your my mate Skylar. I know when your in pain." He says kissing my neck, I feel his want for me. Of course I want him too but I can't. What about Jake? I couldn't do that to him. After what we did today, that would break him, that would break me if someone did that to me.

"Skylar I know you want to be with me, just relax and let me do the rest." He whispers sending chills down my spine. I close my eyes tighter wondering if this is all a dream. "You know you want me to be your mate." He says in my ear and I feel his warm lips all over my body. "Just let go of Jake. You belong to me!" He growls. I finally find the strength to push him off but when I open my eyes there is no one to push off.

I am alone in my bedroom with the clothes I had on a couple of days ago. In fact the same clothes I had on before we went to the party. I jilt up and look out my window, the sun is setting. Whats going on? I run down stairs and there sits Jade and Sam kissing each other on the love seat and Bella and Matt are talking.

"Hey your up." Bella says in the same voice she had two days ago. "Whats going on?" I ask confused not sure if this is a joke or if I had dreamt the whole thing. "What? Whats wrong?" Jade asks getting up off the couch with Sam and meets me on the stairs.

"Where's Dad?" I ask wanting to talk to him, if he's even here. "Skylar please, just relax. Michael hasn't been home in five years." She whispers not trying to upset me. "What? Where's Caleb?" I ask wanting to see Caleb. He knows whats going on!

"Who's Caleb?" Jade asks and Bella reaches my side. "How do you know about Caleb?" Sam asks and I look at him. "Where is he?" I ask wanting to know what the hell is going on. "You weren't suppose to know about Caleb." Sam says angrily. "What? My Dad told me about him. He's suppose to be my mate, but thats not important." I tell him. "Whats going on, Skylar?" Bella asks and Matt stands up.

"She had a vision." Matt says walking toward me. He moves Bell and Jade out of his way and he grabs my head in his hands and looks me straight in the eyes. His ice cold blue eyes calms me down and I relax almost immediatley. "Come sit down and say what you saw." He says leading me over to the couch.

After an hour of telling my story Matt finally confesses.

"You had a vision of what is or was going to happen the next few days. This usually happens to some wolves with a higher sense of minds. More accelerated. This is good, now this helps you to escape certain obstacles." He says nodding but I still don't understand.

"Why did this happen?" I ask still wanting to know if my Dad will come back home. "Its normal for wolves like you, of your kind the chagerarooday. They have these visions a lot." Matt continues and then he looks at me. "Thats why the hunter's want you. So they can see the future as well. I never thought you would get it so young." He says smiling at me.

"So it was all a dream like?" I ask wanitng to just break down and cry of relief. Thank god none of this happened, I don't know what I would do. "Yes, some of the things come true like they should but you have to know what should be and what shouldn't." Matt says and I hear Sam growl. "She wasn't suppose to know about Caleb or her Father. It was suppose to be a surprise." Sam slams a fist on the couch shaking the house.

"Relax Sam, its best for her to know. Its bad too keep secrets from a Jia Garoo Deva Om wolf. They can sense it." Matt says growling back at him. "I can't believe your going to be the alpha!" Bella screams with laughter. "Thats not the point. You have to mate with Caleb." Sam growls at me and I nod.

"Sometimes the people you dream about or invision know whats going on as well. Caleb will be the same guy and you will feel the same feelings about him." Matt says confirming what I wondered. "So I'm just suppose to go as things are and never bring it up?" I ask not sure if I could keep that big of a secret.

"Most likely." Matt says nodding. "I know its hard, I've been through this a lot. You learn to live with it and then you forget it. You will have about a day and then it will just be like another dream." Matt says and I relax. "I hope so." I mutter and sit back on the couch.

"Just a day, thats it." I mumble to myself and nod thinking about the next couple of days.
