A/N: This is my first fanfic so sorry if it isn't too good and was a little short but I hope you enjoy it I'll try to update once a week but sorry if its a little late

You step out of the ferry with a lump in your throat and the blood pounding in your ears. You walk along the beach looking for the cave entrance and you find but it takes a second of hesitation to walk into the cave and you feel the same rush of air you haven't felt for 15 years. You freeze when you hear a joyful yell in the distance. They still are only 10 "What am I doing here," you think.

You take a deep breath but you still can't bring yourself to leave the cave it feels like your shoes are made of lead and then you hear it! A squawk it was a peregrine Falcon but it wasn't 𝒉𝒆𝒓 you hope, She either would transform or attack you out of anger. You walk out of the cave and towards the town hoping none of the townsfolks recognises you, Praying that you don't bump into any of the others.

You see the town pub on fire so panicked slightly you go down an alleyway hoping no one notices especially 𝒉𝒊𝒎, now that would be a slight problem,
"Come on boy!" You hear one voice say as a horse Carriage rushes by
"Quick come on Jake get on." says another you feel a pit of anxiety develop as you remember what may happen to the poor policeman that knocks on the home door.

You briskly walk out of the alleyway following the hoof prints, you feel sick to your stomach at the thought of facing her once again. Unless she already knew you were here she had a habit of predicting things, hell she may already know what time Emma, Olive, Milliard and some boy called jake may return. The house appears in the distance and you just freeze you feel the lump in your throat come back and tears prick your eyes "Oh god y/n why are we doing this we left years ago!" You hesitate as you know that the policeman will be alive again after reset but you have to at least try to save him. You walk up with the door shut but you notice a police badge on the grass and you realise you're too late Miss peregrine had already got him.

So you begin to walk back until you notice someone crouching in a bush their blue hair poking out the top they stand up their back turned towards you. You can't move you're frozen in place. She turns around and looks dead at their mouth open in a silent gasp their eyes glaring at me slightly.
"y/n, where have you been?" She asks her voice only just audible you're shaking at this point as you explain that you left the loop as your peculiarity allows you to live forever. "Miss Peregrine I'm so sorry but please, please could I possibly stay I need a place I'll help out I'll earn my keep I promise!" you begged Miss Peregrine simply walked forward and hugged you tightly. She hushes you and reminds you that you're always welcome. She walks away you watch her walk you notice how her hips sway slightly.

Miss Peregrine finds you walking around the garden 10 minutes later "Y/n darling the children are in the living room they are unaware that you have returned, come on you must tell them where you have been." She says matter of factly you nodded unable to talk you follow her towards the living room where the doors are shut, she notices your nervousness and asks "Are you okay do you want me to tell them that you are here instead?" You shake your head and take a deep breath and open the door...
