"We need to kill Hope Mikaelson," Elena said, matter of factly as if she was talking about the weather that morning. Only then did Damon look back to Elena, surprise etched over his face.
"What?"
Mystic falls:
Damon rushed to his girlfriend and held his hands over her face, tilting her head every which way.
"Damon?" Elena said questioningly, though there was an underline of anger in her tone, as she brutally ripped his hands away from her face.
"What, I'm just checking you haven't turned off your humanity," Damon responded, looking offended while Elena merely shot him a tight smile as she interrupted, "which I haven't,". The older vampire sighed in exasperation, once again wondering why the entire universe constantly hated him before he started to speak, "look I don't like klaus as much as the next guy, but even I won't threaten Hope of all people," Damon said, hoping that his girlfriend would see even a bit of reason.
"She's an abomination, she shouldn't exist," Elena insisted, completely shutting out Damon.
"Elena, what's up with you, you of all people would never want to harm a child," Damon said, feeling a bit creeped out at the role reversal he was experiencing.
"Look you can either help me, or I'll find someone else," Elena said walking out of the room as Damon picked up his phone.
"Stefan, we may have a problem," Damon said into the phone, looking in the direction his girlfriend went.
