New Orleans:

Klaus sat in his office, Hayley across from him as they both looked over the various paper work that ruling New Orleans demanded. The two were sat in complete silence, the only sound being the occasional shuffling of papers and the tapping of the keys on Hayley's computer. It was then that Klaus felt a strange shudder run down his spine. It was like a click in his brain and he felt connected to something. Some of it felt familiar though some of it felt foreign. He didn't know whether it was an external force or if he had just felt a breeze. Either way he shrugged off the feeling and went back to looking over his documents.

Hayley looked up at him, her eyebrow raised as she stopped typing. Klaus mimicked her expression, wondering why she had stopped.

"Something the matter?"

"What's up with you?" She asked, sitting back and completely abandoning her work now.

"What do you mean?" He responded causing her to immediately roll her eyes.

"Klaus I'm married you, I'll think I would no if somethings up," Hayley said, prompting klaus to turn his full body towards her. Before he could speak though, the door to the office creaked open and both Hayley and Klaus turned towards the door, eyes glowing yellow. Hope though was not fazed as she shuffled into the room, revealing her self to her parents.

"Mom," the 10 year old said, gulping slightly as she shuddered, instantly causing the two hybrids  to look at each other in concern, forgetting their previous conversation.

"Hope, sweetie, what's wrong," Hayley said, getting up and kneeling in front of her daughter as klaus followed.

"I feel... weird," Hope tried to explain, shaking her head at Hayley's confused look as she tried desperately to elaborate, "like I'm cold, but I'm not and I feel like things that are familiar..."

"And things that are foreign, like a shudder down ones spine," klaus finished for her and Hayley looked between the two in puzzlement as Hope nodded her head eagerly.

"Hope did this just happen now?" Klaus prompted, ignoring Hayley's questioning gaze.

"Yeah how did you know," Hope tilted her head innocently towards her father.

"Hope why don't you find your aunt Freya, I think she's upstairs," Hayley said after a few seconds of silence on klaus's part, the 10 year old girl nodding obediently towards her mother, her worry gone now. After all she had told her parents and her parents always fixed everything-it was their superpower.

The parent's worry had just begun though. They both looked at each other as Klaus nodded his head towards Hayley's unseen question. That's what he had felt aswell. This meant it was not a breeze or from his own imagination, but something else. Something supernatural related. Before he could say anything the front door slammed open and the two hybrids zoomed to see Kol and Davina walking through with looks of concern on their face. Freya hurrying down the stairs as she looked towards the newcomers, Hope smiling at her aunt and uncle from behind.

"Nik we have a problem," Kol simply said and klaus knew without a doubt that he had felt the same thing both him and Hope had mère moments ago.
