||CHAPTER 29: Rivalry||
Tia
29th of October, 2014
"I am such an idiot."
I watch Taylor hit her forehead against the locker over and over, repeating the same words.
I give her a short, reassuring hug, "It's alright, Tay-Tay. It'll be fine in the end." I said, smiling, for what seemed to have been the hundredth time.
"Tia's right." Danielle said, giggling. "No one can resist such a beautiful girl, and ifthat person does, then it'll be their loss."
"It won't." She whispered, sighing. "I said it before, h-he hasn't rung for about four nights, and I am nervous. What if he doesn't love me, what if he tells Lucas. I...." Before completing her sentence, she once more sit her head against the locker.
'God, she's a lost pup'
"This is one reason, I don't love." I state, "It's complicated, and troublesome."
"That's true but it's love and love is powerful and great." Danielle giggles, "But, I have to leave."
"Leave?" I ask, curiously.
"Yeah, I need to meet Mrs. Turner." She explained, before giving Taylor and I a small hug. "I need to ask her questions for Math."
I nod, "Alright. We'll meet at lunch."
Once Danielle wasn't in sight, I snort. "What a liar."
"She's meeting with Lachlan, isn't she? I feel terrible because she's in a relationship with someone's who such a faithful, and caring person."
I inhale before exhaling, "Yeah. She doesn't deserve him." I said.
"Hello ladies, what's the gossip about?"
"Matt!" I chirp, once I hear his voice. Turning around, I give him a moment bear hug. Letting go, I take a step back, "We're talking about Little Miss Cheater." I inform.
There was an instantaneous frown on his face. "She doesn't deserve someone like him." He said, scowling.
"I know, I know."
I squeak when I feel arms wrap around, and pull me close. "Good morning, love." I hear David whisper, before taking a deep breath. "You smell great."
I laugh. "You're such a charmer." I respond, with a hint of sarcasm.
"You two, please stop, we are at school."
I glance at his cousin, grinning. "But we're hugging because we haven't seen each for a while." I pout.
"It wouldn't have been long if Mister David, wasn't being lazy." She grumbled, "He's here because I had to force him. That, and because it's a trial. If, he doesn't like it, he's going back."
"Last I remember, I have a mouth, and I can explain." David said, as his arms loosen.
"You're not leaving, right?" I inquire, twirling around to face him.
David gave me a shrug. "I might because I much rather a bustling place then a town. But don't worry because we'll keep in touch. After-all, keeping distance from a gorgeous girl is hard."
