Happy Endings

(Real short)

With Wilbur dead, Techno in an asylum, Tommy gods know where, and Ranboo looking at him confused and afraid Phil closed his family album. He placed the book on the shelf and turned toward the last boy left.

"Some stories don't get happy endings. Not Wilbur's, not Techno's, not Tommy's, not yours or mine." Phil almost chuckles the tears pooling in his eyes. "People like us don't get to be happy boy."

Ranboo tilts his head before his eyes flicker toward Phil's hand that was creeping to one of the drawers of his desk.

"Please don't look at me like that. This is for your own good." Phil says woefully, the dam breaking and tears running down his cheeks. "Phil?" Ranboo backs up toward the studies door, eyes not leaving Phil.

"I'm trying to save you, us, from anymore pain so please, please... forgive me."

Bang. The sound echoed down the street. No neighbor mistook the sound of the gunshot but before anyone could make a call to save the family, so broken that even the kindest person would kill, another shot rang out then another. Bang bang.

There was a horrific scream, it sound more of emotion pain then physical. Bang. One last gunshot to signify the end of road and this story.

(And Floof went to live of a ranch with Phil's cousins or something.)
